From the panoramic viewpoint you can admire the Cheval Noir massif, the Lauzière massif and the Belledonne mountain range. Not forgetting, of course, the magnificent view of the Italian side of Mont Blanc from the Col de la Madeleine (at an altitude of 2,000 metres). The ski area boasts top-quality snow cover, accessible to skiers of all abilities and for all levels of ability. Between the Maurienne and Tarentaise regions, the Saint-François Longchamp ski area and its neighbour Valmorel form the GRAND DOMAINE around the famous Col de la Madeleine. Skiers can play leapfrog over 1300 m of vertical drop in one of Savoie's premier ski areas.
