Welcome to Three Little Birds Cottage, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! This darling home is tucked away on three beautiful wooded acres on Bay Shore Drive.



The Space:

Enjoy this property all year long! You can enjoy the wood-burning fireplace and close proximity to Sturgeon Bay in the winter, watch for the lady slippers and baby deer to appear in the spring, relax on the huge front porch or back deck during the summer, and enjoy being surrounded by seasonal colors in the fall. Winter time offers holiday decor perfect to put you in the holiday spirit.



Go explore all of Door County's treasures during the day and return home to your own private retreat at night.

Water Access:

-This is not a waterfront property but access is straight down the road across from the driveway.

-Water access is at a dead-end road and down a short rocky bank. Flat rock area is suitable for bringing a few portable chairs to sit if desired to watch the beautiful sunsets.



Home Truths:

-There is a security camera installed by the driveway that points towards the satellite dish.

-This property allows up to 2 well-behaved dogs. There is an additional fee collected at booking.



This is a quiet community with residential neighbors. This home is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we cannot accommodate bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions or other rowdy gatherings.



Please be aware that you must sign a terms and conditions agreement, which will be sent to you separately, to finalize your reservation.



Other Things to Note:

Amenity + damage protection waiver includes:

• Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels. (Please bring your own beach towels)

• A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.

• PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).

There’s something for the whole family here. A short walk down to the shore for the whole family. Two fire pits, bicycles, and outdoor toys and games. Puzzles, board games, and toys in the house. Leashes, bowls, and toys for the dog even! We brought our 4-year-old granddaughter and she slept in the nook up in the loft. She loved it. We would definitely come back.

What a thoughtful and well curated space! We found ourselves finding ways to cozy up in the cabin instead of going out. It was very capable to cook meals in and perfect for reading or board games. The fireplace worked fantastic. The property was a lovely little stroll to the waterfront, was surrounded by serene woods and open to solid star gazing.

Nice house. We had a problem getting in when we got there as the batteries were dead in the door keypad but luckily we found a door open. Also the AC was not working when we arrived. They had a window unit but it only cooled the main areas and not the bedroom. They did have someone look at it but they were unable to fix it during our stay. The house was a short walk to the water and had nice outside area for a fire pit. Overall the house was clean and was well stocked.

We had a great time at the 3 Little Birds cottage/house and I would highly recommend this house for your next stay in Door County.Communication: The Simple team responded quickly and clearly from check-in to check-out and off the cuff questions. We had a question regarding the sleep number bed, and they responded within the hour. They even texted the anticipated time the power was going to be restored (but we never ended up losing power). Cleanliness: Superb! House: This was the most well stocked house I've ever stayed at. They had everything you would want to find in a kitchen to paper supplies, spices, shampoo, soaps, lotion, blankets, games, books and fans. You name it, they had it. Even though we had 5 people, we never ran out of hot water. The house is just like the pictures with comfortable furniture and beds. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the turkeys and humming birds from the screened in porch. And the Wifi was great!Location: We found it very easy to navigate to many of the sites in Door County.Thanks for the most enjoyable accommodations in Door County!

If you are looking for a fantastic place to stay in Door County that is dog friendly, look no further. Situated between Sturgeon Bay and Egg Harbor, this property offers privacy while still being close to the action. The home has a great set-up for multiple people with the primary bedroom on the main floor and the other bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen is open to the dining room and Living Room so everyone can be together regardless of what is going on. The cleanliness was amazing. Everything was immaculate and everything was labeled. Anything you might need was made available inside and outside, including tons of yard games, bikes, etc. The property has two fire pits with chairs and a screened in porch that you and your 4 legged companions will love. Take a short walk to the dead end street to see amazing sunsets over the Bay. Bob Marley says “Don’t worry, ‘bout a thing” and we didn’t have to at 3 Little Birds.

Our stay was wonderful! The home was very accommodating and roomy with our 2 dogs. It was very cozy with the fireplace which we used day and night. We were able to get wood for the fireplace easily. The location was centrally located between Sturgeon Bay and Egg Harbor. The property had everything needed for cooking in the kitchen with being able to walk the dogs out on the property and over to the bay.

Great spot

Beautiful property, stayed here comfortably with 4 adults and 2 young kids. The boys loved walking down to the lake which was very nearby (just have to cross the main road). Would definitely come back for another stay.
