Huge Loft-Style Barndominium Near NASCAR & Old Town Roanoak

This home we call “The Warehouse” is an approx 4,500 sq ft loft-style apartment with soaring ceilings in a big industrial metal building, otherwise known as a Barndominium! This is NOT in a residential area, it is an industrial area with a partial gravel (unpaved) road. We are around the corner from the Northwest Regional Airport, 5 Miles away from the NASCAR races at the Texas Motor Speedway, 13 miles from the Lake Grapevine Twin Coves boat launch, and only 20 miles from DFW! Our neighbor is a welding company - while we think this place is awesome, it is not your “typical” neighborhood so PLEASE LOOK UP THE AREA before booking!! The apartment is a well stocked GOURMET CHEF’S KITCHEN, with a Viking range, a huge Subzero fridge, a ton of counter space, and a huge walk-in pantry. Our beds are fairly new, high-end Beautyrest mattresses (same maker of the “Heavenly Bed”). Downstairs has the master bedroom with a large walk-in closet, a soaking tub, and a large walk-in shower with 2 shower heads. There are 2 additional bedrooms downstairs with a shared bathroom. Upstairs there are 2 en suite bedrooms with queen sized beds, in addition to an office (with a sofa pull-out double bed), a kid/game room (corn hole, basketballgame ping pong), and a workout area on the balcony (exercise bike, floor mats, balls, resistance bands). We have a small courtyard off the kitchen/ living room area with a table and chairs, fire pit & BBQ. We also have an acre of grass behind the building, but please note that there is no fence around it. At night, this area is very quiet.

Amazing place for a large gathering!

We love the barndominium! My extended family gathered here for the weekend to attend my daughters college graduation and it was perfect! It had everything we needed and more! I would definitely stay again!

House was wonderful for a big family vacation

We vacationed with a party of 9. This property had a great amount of space for us. It was clean and a very nice space. The extra little amenities and touches was nice. We enjoyed being out of the busy town but with a close enough drive to attractions. We would stay again.

Fantastic for families or work groups

I found the property because we had to attend a conference with a 5 of our employees. We required a property which gave each employee their private space but with a large common area to comfortably hangout and work together. This property is perfect! Very clean, nicely appointed with great wifi. The check-in/out process was seamless. A note and a little local snack was in place to greet us. Nicole checked in during our stay to see if we needed anything. The property was beautiful. It lived up to it's pictures and was prefect for our groups needs. Nicole was responsive any time we communicated. Definitely will stay there when I return to Dallas.

Beautiful piece of heaven

The owners were completely transparent about the industrialized area. Once we went inside the barndominium was more than we expected! Everything was of the finest quality and exceeded our expectations! All of the bedrooms had the best beds which made our own beds at home look cheap! You slept like a King & Queen! Plenty of cookware and toiletries were found throughout the entire home! The game room/ living area was perfect specially for our kids to watch whatever they wanted while we got to do the same downstairs! They have corn hole, basket ball and a ping pong table which kept these kids going for hours. We spent our last day snuggled in and watching movies instead of going out shopping and exploring. That’s how beautiful this home was! It did rain a little which can be a little loud on the tin roof but also peaceful as your laying in bed! Depends on who you are! This home did not lack anything at all that we needed! Thank you for such a wonderful stay for our family Christmas vacation! We hope to be back soon!

Great house for a group!

This house is just like the pictures! And you feel like you’re in the country but it’s a few minutes into Roanoke to our favorite restaurants and a few minutes to TMS. The way you get to both is so much easier than crowded 114. It was perfect for our group that consisted of 4 couples and a couple kids! Bathrooms are near or in the bedrooms! I would absolutely stay here again- and will next Good Guys!!

Great place for the family to hang out between wedding events!

The property is a little different - but it was EXACTLY as advertised. We appreciated having the space to hang out and spread out. Nicole was great to work with and she responded quickly every time. Highly recommend!

Awesome for large groups

We are event planners so our standards are pretty high. We were doing event in Ft Worth and we all like to stay together and cook at night and it was amazing. Over and above our expectation. Highlight recommend. Very comfortable, clean and spacious. Owners were amazing to deal with.

Perfect place for large family gatherings

Exterior: Not inviting.area. . . .almost didn't choose to check the inside of the property.. . . .BUT so glad we did!! The interior is roomy, nicely decorated, equipped with everything from coffee maker to "Corn in the Hole" game that can be played inside. Huge kitchen area that was well equipped. Large bedrooms are nicely decorated, nice bedding, and comfortable beds. Property was very clean. Overall this was a very pleasant experience. Would schedule this property again. Liked working with Nicole, the owner.

Family Wedding Trip

We traveled from Florida to be a part of my nieces wedding in Dallas/Fort Worth area! The home allowed for my husband and I, our 3 sons, their wives and their children to all stay together! We had a wonderful time in the home! There was plenty of space for all of us! The location is a little bit farther out than I realized, but once we found where everything was located, it wasn’t that bad. It is definitely in an industrial area rather than a neighborhood, but that didn’t bother us. The beds were very comfortable, nice new linens, and the amenities were great! We would stay again!

Great Space

Property owners were very transparent in the industrial area listing. The house itself was a great space and everything we needed for the time we were there. It’s a short drive to good food and drinks. The Roanoke downtown area is a hidden gem just a short drive away. Thanks for an awesome stay.

Fantastic Texas Barndominium!

This is an absolute dream property courtesy of a fantastic host! Booking was easy and painless, and Nicole stayed in contact to seamlessly facilitate the zero-contact check-in/check-out processes. The pictures don't do it justice ya'll! Each room is spacious and plushly decorated for both aesthetic and comfort. The game room and media room upstairs are perfect for entertaining children, and the mini-gym on the loft landing was great for a quick workout session. I would definitely recommend booking this beautiful, roomy property and, as Nicole was such an amazing host, I look forward to booking any other properties she may list in the future!

You can't get much closer to the Texas Motor Speedway! It is so easy to get to and from DFW from here. We are also about 30 minutes to Dallas (aquarium, zoo, museums, BBQ) and Fort Worth (Stockyards, zoo). Downtown Roanoak is so cute, with a Craft & Vine, Hard 8 BBQ, Babes Chicken, Oak St. Pie Co., as well as other Mesican and Italian options. Our kids love watching the planes land and take off from the airport. The Southlake/ Westlake area is about 15 minutes away with lots of restaurant options and the amazing Central Market.
