Everything in this condo has been chosen to help you to have a great vacation.

Whether you like to sit on the deck and read a book and watch the kids in the lazy river, soak in the hot tub, cook on the grill or easily walk from your back patio to the lazy river, you will love this condo!

For those times you want to watch television you will have a large flat screen television in each room.
The condo of course comes with free Cable TV and free WiFi high speed internet access.

If cooking is your thing the kitchen is fully equipped and you have your own private gas grill outside.
The kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances.

The condo has a full size set of washer and dryer in a small Laundry room.

The master bedroom has top of the line mattress and linens, a flat screen television, large walk-in closet, a private bath with Jacuzzi tub, double sinks and separate shower. Full blackout drapes cover the sliding door and plantation shutters cover the side windows.

The queen bedroom has top of the line mattress and linens, flat screen television and large closet. Plantation shutters cover the windows.

The third bedroom has a bunk bed that has a full on top, queen on bottom and twin trundle. Windows are covered with plantation shutters. Bedroom has a flat screen television.

Living room has an upscale sleeper sofa, love seat and recliner. There is plenty of seating for watching television or just chatting with family and friends. Sliding door and side windows are covered with full blackout drapes.

There is plenty of room at the table or the bar for seating for all of your dine-in meals or you might choose to enjoy that grilled meal on the deck as you watch people floating by on the lazy river.

This condo is on the lanai level and offers the convenience of walking out your balcony door to the lazy river and amenities of Destin West Bayside. OR just relax with a cold beverage in your own private hot tub.

Destin West offers something for every guest. 700 Foot Lazy Lagoon River with inner tubes provided on site free of charge. Waterfall swimming pool, two huge hot tubs too. Guests in the Osprey Building also have access to an additional seasonally heated pool located directly below this property.

All Guest of Destin West will also have access to the newly built pier and marina great for fishing no license required!

The walkover bridge also puts you within a 10-15min walk of several local beach side restaurants, bars, Water sports rentals, and more. There is also a convenience store next door open 24 hrs a day in case you forgot something during your stay.

***This condo has a private hot tub that is optional for our guests. The fee to use the hot tub is $60 plus tax and will be added to the quote given unless we are contacted to state not wanted.

Amazing Spot!

We've already loved visiting Destin West several times in the past but these larger accomodations really prove their value! We love having a grill and hot tub.. being right on the lazy river.. and these accommodations are beyond comfortable. We will be bookmarking this one be back again soon!

Nice Unit, but there were a few issues

Ironing board, but NO IRON. We really needed an iron for beach photo attire. Empty propane tank. After paid in full, we received check-in instructions. Included was grill instructions "Grill Instructions: This condo does come with a private grill. Guests are responsible for refilling tank if it is empty during your stay. There is a Tom Thumb next door that will refill propane tanks.. Please make sure to clean grill prior to departure." We decided we would NOT refill the empty tank or use the grill. We went with public charcoal grills available on the Destin West property. Guest bathroom could use shelves to put your toiletries. The sink area is too small. Deadbolt on door would barely engage.

Fabulous Time!!

Property was clean and well maintained. The grounds were beautiful. The condo was as described. Could use a little updating and fixes. We didnt have an iron but an ironing board. Noone ever came to fix light in fridge and shelf was broken but overall it was great! Plenty of pools for the kids to choose from. It was rather cool but the hot tub made it perfect!

Great Vacation place for the family

We were a little nervous about booking this place based on previous reviews, but it turned out to be a great place to stay with our family. 10 people felt a little crowded at times but it has a large outdoor space to spread out in as well. We loved the first floor access to walk out to the pool/lazy river and the private hotub on the lower patio. The kids were able to play in the grass area while we watched from the deck. We looked for crabs by the sea wall and did some fishing on the pier. It is a decent walk to the beach when you have all your gear but it is worth it. Big beach area and walkable board walk and pier right next door. There are lots of shops and restaurants very close by the property as well. *Make sure you bring your own supplies (garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, tissue, dish soap, etc) because they only have a starter amount. ** The first bedroom is right next to the kitchen and has an open "window" between the two that doesn't fully seal. It can be noisy for whoever is sleeping in that space with the bunk beds.

Will not be back

We found multiple roaches, the pack n play that was provided in the master bedroom closet had a bunch of silverfish everywhere in it!!! The high chair provided had food caked on it from previous people staying there. We tried to get ahold of maintenance on our first day because the dryer was making an awful noise and making the wall hot while we was using it, got a text they would be out the next day and never came. Beautiful resort but this room was not it and we will not be coming back.

Dissapointed with our stay 6-18-22 to 6-25-22 totally!

Property was not the same as viewed on web site. We found out the property had changed owners and amenities changed after the reservations were made. These are the items we dealt with: Laundry was left in washer and dryer for us to finish upon arrival by housekeeping crew. Floors were dirty and were rewashed by management. Grill was out of propane,was dirty and was mechanically broke. No table or chairs on patio as pictured on web site. Provided patio furniture was moldy and badly stained. Balcony and lower deck was in need of a power washing or some kind of cleaning. Couch and loveseat in living room was badly stained and had to be covered with linens provided by management. Kitchen table chair arm was broken. Dishwasher racks were moldy. Small bathroom ceiling was moldy. Small chair in living room had leg falling off. Pool and pool patios were dirty and mildew covered in many areas. Pool security did not enforce many of the posted rules. We saw people coming onto property from nearby RV park to use the property. Previous to our stay we were charged a cleaning fee that was expected during the payment process Maintenance did get new grill and patio table w/ 4 chairs. Very unhappy with this property compared to others we stayed at in the last 4 years. We feel that we should have been updated on ownership change and amenity changes. It is very important that when you arrive that your amenities are as you expected. And finally unless there is some response by either management or owners we doubt there will be another stay booked. Wonderful Beach Vacay

My husband and I stayed at this condo during the Easter break with our three daughters. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. The rooms were spacious enough for our 2 teenage and college-aged daughters. The hot tub was great after a day on the beach and floating in the lazy River. It was a short boat ride out to Crab Island. Communication with the Property Manager was immediate and helpful. Will definitely stay there again. We loved it.

Location was great for fishing.

Easy check in, nice location and pool area. The only thing I would suggest is maybe a good thorough cleaning top to bottom. But overall it was a great place to rent and a lot of amenities.

Nice amenities but not well kept

We travel to this resort each summer. This unit was not very clean and was not well taken care of. Generally the pool and grounds need a refresh or some deep cleaning.

Great family-friendly vacation spot!

We love staying at this property and will come back year after year! It’s such an amazing place to spend time with family and kids of all ages. We had an absolute blast and we loved being able to hop out of the lazy river and pop into our own kitchen for a snack or cold drink and get a break from the sun. The location can’t be beat! Thanks for all of the amazing memories - we look forward to visiting again!

Great Time

The unit, property, beach, and general location exceeded my expectations. Great time was had by my entire family. Only small issue we had was the second bathroom tub didn’t drain quickly. But we all just used the master shower. We will try to return next year. Thank you

What is nice about L05 is that it is on the ground level with its own hot tub. The weather was a bit chilly for early March, so they hot tub was perfect. The condo was very nice and clean and the management company made it all very easy to check in and out. Would highly recommend this place.

5 Star Stay!

The condo had everything we needed. Great location with the unit being just steps away from the lazy river/pool area. The hot tub on the balcony was a delight while the weather was cool. And the resort itself was in great shape just days after Hurricane Sally.

The chairs on the beach are TOO DAMN close together.

Regardless of social distancing there wasn't enough space between the chairs/ umbrellas. There wasn't a designated path to get to the beach without having to walk over people or walk to the end of the beach chairs to get around to get to the water. People were setting up tents between condo properties leaving no direct path to the water.

We had a fabulous time. Everything was clean and as advertised. We had one hiccup, but Julie immediately had it fixed. We didn’t even realize maintenance had been there. We will come again!
