Falls Short of Expectations Based on Listing

We recently stayed at this condo for a girls’ weekend to attend a wedding and were pretty disappointed given the listing’s high ratings and polished photos. While the location was very convenient and the pool area was a nice bonus (though lacking any shade or umbrellas), the actual unit left a lot to be desired.When we arrived, there was a strong moldy/mildewy odor—we ended up making a trip to buy air fresheners just to tolerate the smell. The vents were caked in dust, and unfortunately one of our guests had multiple asthma attacks during the stay. The walls and handrails were noticeably dirty, and the furniture felt outdated and dingy. Walking barefoot on the rugs left our feet completely black.The kitchen was a nice area but the bathrooms had some issues: a toilet paper holder was missing entirely and one of the vanities had something being held together with duct tape. A number of floorboards and tiles were also missing, making parts of the space feel unfinished and a bit unsightly.One important detail that wasn’t clear in the listing: one of the bedrooms is actually a dark, basement-level room off the garage. It felt more like a utility space than a proper bedroom, and we saw a few large bugs down there, which didn’t help.For the price we paid, we expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and upkeep. With some deep cleaning and honest listing details, this place could live up to the potential shown in the photos—but sadly, that wasn’t our experience.

Great location

The table umbrella on the back porch did not work properly and A few things needed to be repaired before we stayed but the overall state was great. We were promisedA broom to be brought to the house two different days and never did get one. Still a fun stay

Fun Time in Navarre

Overall, the property was really nice. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and great, and the outdoor spaces were really nice. The wifi signal worked well and was strong throughout. The property has a pool that was great, and there is even a small beach next to the pool. That was a nice surprise. There are a couple of things that could've been better: (1) Parking: The info received from the property manager said that there was room for 4 vehicles: 1 in the garage, 1 in the driveway, and two parking spaces in the parking lot. However, there was only one parking space per unit in the parking lot, so one of our guests had to park down the street at the pier. Additionally, the parking lot has poor drainage, so our reserved parking spot was in the middle of a lake the whole stay. (2) The washing machine was broken the entire stay, and we were notified only two days before the trip. Fortunately, we were just going for a few days, so it wasn't that big a deal, but it would have been nice to know a little sooner. (3) There is no TV service (cable, satellite, or even an antenna). This was stated in the info we received, but it turned out to be a bigger deal than we thought it would be. Several of my guests would have liked to see local news or the weather, but none of that was available. Overall, I'd say this is a nice place. If the washing machine were fixed, TV service provided, and the drainage issue in the parking lot were fixed, I'd definitely give 5 stars.

Family Beach Trip

We loved our stay at Navarre! The townhome was perfect for our family of 11. Loved the decoration especially the master bedroom and bath! There was a 5-7 min walk to the beach. The beach was not crowded except on July 4th. The bay was a 5 min walk. Nobody in our family had played much tennis but because the tennis courts were right behind our balcony they really enjoyed playing. The house provided lots of beach stuff…wagon, floats, small canopy, umbrellas. You could also walk to the longest pier in USA and watch sea turtles and dolphins or could fish. Only thing challenging was the walkway to the beach had a lot of stairs making a heavy wagon difficult to pull. We learned to ditch the wagon, everybody carried their own chair and just carry less stuff! Overall it was a great experience!

Lovely place for family reunion!

The unit was newly renovated with new appliances. The rooms were what we expected. We really enjoyed our time at Buena Vida. The only problem we encountered was that the electrical outlets in all the bathrooms did not work and we had to make adjustments to use appliances in other rooms.

Loved it!

We loved our stay! The house is beautiful, plenty of room for my family of 8. The kids loved the tennis court, the pool, and the access to the Bay behind the pool. Beach supplies in the garage was really nice. Communication with the host was easy, both ladies i communicated with before during and after our stay was super easy, fast replies, they are truly good hesrted and kind people. The walk to the beach/pier was easy, anout 4 minutes, and wr had 6 children with us. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful!!

This property is more beautiful than in the photos! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend this for any group up yo 10/12. What I loved, was the privacy of each couple….and kids can watch tv, or play games in the bottom entertainment area and adults can visit in the open lounge, dining room area. Unfortunately it was too cold to spend time on the deck, but plentiful space there too. If I could give this a higher rating than 5, I would.

Older but nice condo on sound side of Navarre beach. Short walk to beach on ocean side.

Loved loved it

We loved the townhouse. It was close to everything. Beautiful property and surroundings. Loved going on the boat dock, swimming pool and the beach was just right there as well. We will definitely be staying her again.

Perfect family rental

We loved the unit and location. It was perfect for our family and the property manager was wonder at helping locate anything we might need and answering any questions. . Communication/clean/locations all great with this rental.

Don’t book the place

Our staying at that place was horrible. Starting from two day before leaving the owner called us and tell me that plumbing pump at the condo broke and would not be ready for Thursday night . She did give us option across the street and we did accepted because we planned this trip for weeks . When we got there on Thursday night we found down from the manger that the owner overbooked and someone is staying at the condo . We had to take many staff ( coolers , fishing rods, clothing ) to the 3 floor appointment that we scheduled for us and the elevator did not worked. The appointment smell bad and there was construction outside so we could not even use the balcony . I typically don’t write any bad reviews but she lie to us and people need to check her place because making any plans

Perfect for relaxing family vacation

We had a really nice week at the Buena Vida town house. The location is great, with walking distance (<10 min) to the only two restaurants, the beach, the gift store, the fishing pier and the sea turtle conservatory.

Beautiful beach house in amazing location

We spent a lovely week at this amazing location - Playing tennis at the tennis courts, visiting the beautiful white sandy beach (a 5 minute walk), eating at Juanas beach restaurant and other restaurants on the mainland nearby, and visiting the nearby attractions such as the world-class Gulfarium. It was the coldest week for twenty years, but the cosy house and beautiful village made it a great stay. Heidi came by with lots of games a helped make it even better for the kids. Thank you for all the thought you put into the house.

Lenora was amazing, the original place we booked wasn’t ready so she immediately got us into another rental property. The place we stayed at was nicer & directly on the beach. Our family was visiting for our daughters college graduation.

Amazing property-Close to everything

This property is within an area of small condos. The property manager is right on the grounds and incredibly helpful! We stayed there during Thanksgiving and had all that I needed to cook a full meal. We are very familiar with this area. Such a great location as it is close to the bay and the beautiful beaches. The unit is so much larger than you expect! I'll be honest, I did not know it had 3 bathrooms when I booked it. The teens were very happy about that :) The only downside I would have is that the living room area has limited seating for the amount of people that can sleep there. However, you can use the kitchen seating. Overall, an amazing property at a great price! Thank you for letting us experience it!

Awesome house

We had a great time at this house. It honestly felt bigger than the pictures showed. The main living area is very open and has a beautiful view of the water. The upstairs bathrooms are absolutely amazing and luxurious! Everyone slept comfortably in the different beds. The cousins loved the bunk room and the rec room on the first floor. The house was stocked with literally everything you could possibly need between beach towels, beach chairs, a wagon, boogie boards, bikes,etc. the kitchen was well stocked for cooking for the family and lots of little extras that just make the house so welcoming. We also loved being right by the tennis courts since we could watch the kids from the balcony. It was an easy walk to beach access. The pool was nice and the pier was really pretty. The owners were great at communicating. It was an amazing trip and I would stay here every time I was in Navarre!

We love family trips to the beach! The first time that we visited Navarre, we fell in love with this paradise and its beatiful emerald water. The opportunity to see the dolphins close by and the lay down of the “island” its amazing. This house has such a beatiful view not only in the day time but at night, you are able to see the bay with all the lights reflected in the water, breath taken!

This house is not only super comfortable and pretty. It looks so small from outside and when you walk in, you get surprised of all the space it has. Also what we loved about the house is the amazing water view not only in the day time but at night, the lights reflected on the bay makes it pretty amazing!

We are very active, we enjoy to play tennis and ride bikes, take walks and swim. So you can enjoy either the tranquility of the place or many activities. Also you have the choice to enjoy the bay beach (one minute walk) or the ocean beach(4 mins walk) the location is very convenient, is .25mile from the bridge and the some of the best restaurants in Navarre, so you can just walk and have lunch or dinner.
