A mother and daughters getaway! We really enjoyed the birds and wildlife sightings. Beautiful sunsets. Having the firewood available, on site, is a bonus. Sunrise Market has a nice selection at the deli/hot case. Stormy's was a great breakfast option after checking out. Jeff responded promptly to all of our questions/concerns. Comfortable home .

Host was very responsive and this place was the perfect space to relax with our kids and parents and enjoy the beautiful view. On the water but kind of marshy and shallow, so not really great if kids are itching to swim, just something to note. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay again!

Loved the view from the deck. Lots of wild birds to watch. House was clean but the bathroom floorboards needed to be cleaned and the bottom of the shower curtain was in need of a wash. Kitchen was fully stocked with things you wouldn't expect to find. All appliances worked. Didn't get a chance to use the grill. Would recommend to others. Beds were comfy and having the fans in the bedroom were a plus.

Beautiful views cabin on the lake

We checked in for a few day stay to play local golf. So darn cold, we decide to tour the area for restaurants, shopping ect. The cabin had everything we needed. Looking to book to go back in the fall.

Stumbling across the tranquility of what this area offers and falling in love with it is the unique, unstaged, peaceful, awestruck experience your hosts want to share with you.

Imagine hopping on a paddle boat on a summer's night with a spotlight shining down in the water and watching the fish and turtles playing charismatically in their natural habitat. How about relaxing on the deck while enjoying your fresh cup of coffee and the aroma of the fresh morning air and seeing a flamboyant blue peacock who fans out his large colorful iridescent tail feathers who stopped by just to say good morning to you.

Winter adventures await as you take a moonlit walk on a frozen lake, watch the unspoiled fish right under your feet as you shine a flashlight through the ice. Time escapes you as you engross the view of this natural wonder.

Michigan's four seasons are equally inspiring in Au Gres and provide rare experiences waiting to be discovered. Your hosts fell in love with the mentioned awe-inspiring experiences of the natural wonders of our lands and are eager to share with you!

Your hosts are awaiting your arrival.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

So what is it like to stay at Lake Life Cabins? Well....It's an experience everything described and more!! Starting with booking and check-in made so easy by your outstanding hosts (and at a reasonable rate!) easy to find, and extremely clean. Once you arrive, you will be awe-struck by the picturesque views all around you. As you head inside to settle in to your temporary home, you are amazed at just how well this cabin is set up with amenities. You will notice how well-stocked the kitchen is with cookware and appliances, and how the open floor plan gives you plenty of room with enough recliners and seating for everyone to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view. Making your way to the bedrooms you will want to cozy up for a minute on the mattresses just to appreciate how comfortable they are. You can also enjoy a hot steamy shower with sensational water pressure as you freshen up from your travels.
If it is a rainy day, you will find yourself grateful for the strong Wi-Fi connection with plenty of streaming options (yes.. Netflix!) But when the weather is nice you will want to take a stroll through your backyard right on the lake. As you fire up the grill for dinner and get the bonfire started (the propane and firewood are all there and ready for you), you can play a game of Cornhole or just choose to relax on your own private deck. After dinner, be sure to go for a paddleboat ride to catch the breath-taking sunset right from the water.
These cabins are not just for the summer months though, the walleye fishing is on-point all year round, and watching the moonlight and stars twinkle over the water on a crisp winter night is so moving, it's almost surreal. If the sunrise is over the frozen lake it is just as gorgeous in the morning seeing the sun light up the sparkling snow as you begin your day rejuvenated.
The retreat is so much more than a place to stay, it is an incredible experience that begins the moment you arrive.
