Easy stay close to downtown Davis

We loved staying here. It was clean, well stocked, and the perfect location. Ara was very easy to communicate and very helpful.

Spacious house in town

The location was perfect for walking into Davis, and we loved the large table to gather around. The full stocked kitchen was so convenient, and I loved that we all had our own privacy as well. It was perfect for us.

Awesome location! Cozy house

My cousin was getting married and our family descended upon Davis. I expected very little and was happy to find myself in a cozy house within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Highly recommend Good Friends Poke!

Quick Davis Visit

We were in town for a wedding. The location was ideal for quick trips to Napa, Sonoma, and hiking. The house was roomy and in great shape with anything you could need. The owner was very responsive!

Good property

The location and number of beds was key. The property is a bit worn and in need of some TLC. Nothing terrible but for the cost I would have expected a bit more upkeep. I would suggest newer towels, fix peeling paint in the bath, and check all windows to make sure they open. Fo our group it would have been great to have more chairs or an additional love seat. As it was, some folks sat on the floor, or on dining chairs.

Casa on K

There were a few little things that needed attention but the property owner was an excellent communicator and very quick to respond to needs. The house was perfect for our family of 4 adult couples to gather in- lovely big open space to be all together at the table and in the family room area and separate sleeping spaces for all of us. Tons of closet and dresser spaces to use. My only suggestion would be to be sure the back patio door is fixed so that it locks properly (we were told to use a piece of wood to block the door, but the two pieces available weren't the right size). Already mentioned to the owner so I'm sure they are working on that! Overall a great place to stay in very easy walking distance to downtown Davis with all the little shops, coffee, and restaurants.

Number of rooms and beds was not accurate

While the overall location of the property was stellar, we were expecting the property to have 4 bedrooms. The property only had 3 bedrooms, and a loft that overlooked the living area. This was difficult for our friend since they were anticipating their own room. One of the rooms was supposed to have 2 queen beds, but none of the rooms had 2 queen beds. Our friend ended up having to get their own hotel room since the VRBO accommodations were not what was originally listed when we booked several months ago, and when I check a few weeks prior to the stay. However, the VRBO details have been updated as of today to accurately account for the number of rooms and beds.

A great home base for a walk down memory lane!

I stayed here with some friends from the class of 2020 for our makeup commencement and this rental made us fall in love with Davis all over again. It's location is incredible since it's so close to both downtown and campus. Additionally the rental is quite spacious and can easily accommodate a larger group if necessary. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would love to come back whenever I find myself in town again!
