Disappointing Stay – Poor Communication and No Air Conditioning
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to be honest for future guests. Unfortunately, my experience at this rental was frustrating due to poor communication and a major issue with comfort.First and foremost, the property did not have functioning air conditioning, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable. When I reached out for assistance, the host’s responses were delayed 24 hours and unhelpful.Good communication is key to a smooth rental experience, and sadly that was lacking here. Basic questions took too long to be answered, and there was little effort to resolve the issue or offer any alternative solutions.The space itself had potential, but without proper cooling and reliable host support, it was hard to enjoy. I hope future guests have a better experience, but I would not return or recommend this listing unless improvements are made.The ceiling fan in the bedroom cannot be used at night as it is wired to the recessed lights and you’re unable to turn them off. The bath mat was dirty. There was only one washcloth and at least one hand towel was stained. The bedspread was stained. The first aid kit had smears of blood in it. When we arrived one of the lounge chairs was broken and they did promptly remove. Arrival directions said to enter the “red” door which is clearly brown.
