Farmer & winegrower, Denis welcomes you to authentic old stables dating from the 18th century, carefully restored (once linked to the wine estate that occupied the premises) located on a mini family farm (peaceful sheep penned "on site" & visit of the cellar with tasting possible). Total tranquility in the heart of a small residential hamlet nestled on the side of a "west" exposed hill, overlooking the picturesque, perfectly preserved wine village of Saint-Gilles, nestled on the banks of the Canal du Centre in the hollow of the valley steeped in history of the Dheune ("the ceramic valley"). Soothing rural setting all around, nestled on the edge of meadows covered with vines, under the wooded ridges of a small forest. In the heart of the rolling countryside of the Côtes Chalonnaises, magnificent preserved setting protected in ZNIEFF for its fauna & flora riches. Spacious, comfortable gîte. Warm country character with a contemporary spirit. Large enclosed courtyard, with a sheltered terrace, offering a beautiful unobstructed view of the sublime vineyard hillsides of Couchois & Maranges as well as Mont Rome (highest point in the area at 546m, renowned climbing site & splendid belvedere for its exceptional view extending from the Saône to the Autunois) & Mont de Sène (old Celtic place of worship) displayed in the background. Pleasant garden nestled on the edge of meadows, with a pétanque court & a swing. Composition: Semi-detached house to the garage and owner's accommodation (total independence). Wifi (fiber). Authentic old stable dating from the 18th century carefully restored, located in a quiet area on an exposed hillside, on the edge of a picturesque little village nestled on the banks of the famous Canal du Centre (navigable route to discover by boat or on foot), 4.5 km from the charming typical & commercial village of Saint-Léger-sur-Dheune (river marina, many shops including supermarket) & 8.5 km from the charming medieval village of Couches (home to the sumptuous castle of the Queen of France Marguerite of Burgundy dating from the 13th century or the seven menhirs of Epoigny, one of the most important megalithic sites in Burgundy).
