Lush forest surrounds this hillside cabin. Shimmering stars shine over the bubbling hot tub. Make your trip complete - toast marshmallows over the fire pit. Smoky mountain thrills are minutes away.

Emerge from the canopy of trees to Laurel Branch Cabin and relax in complete privacy at this beautiful, custom-built home, where the interior is as stunning as the exterior.

Spend your days lounging on the shady, expansive deck, and enjoy evenings of grilling out and relaxing. Finish your night with a long soak in the large hot tub while you take in forest views.

The first-floor master suite features a king-sized bed, TV with satellite and DVD player, and a bathroom with a large, soaking tub and separate shower, as well as radiant heat in the tile floor for cool mornings.

The second bedroom, located upstairs, has a queen bed, located next to a full bath with a tub and shower. Upstairs also includes a loft with a queen-sized futon.

Laurel Branch Cabin is perfectly located for outdoor enthusiasts, with convenient access to the Nantahala River, Tsali Mountain Bike Trails, Fontana Lake, and the Needmore Preserve. The Tuckaseegee River is less than a mile hike from Laurel Branch.

Easy check in. Kitchen, bathroom, and linens were clean but the place needed to be swept. And the deck too. Otherwise a great stay up in the woods. Very peaceful.

Very peaceful, quiet location. Toiletries and towels/washcloths very nice. I would suggest you add a deck of cards to your gaming choices and a set of various size bowls, with lids to the kitchen supply. Kitchen stocked nicely though. Special little touches here and there were appreciated and we would book this property again!

Hideaway Heaven

Loved the secluded location and ease of access to all the things in the area. When you are in the mountains you have always got to drive to get to places and do things, but this place had so many options we didn’t know which direction to go in. We will definitely be back again!

Amazingly peaceful and quiet

We loved Laurel Crest so much. The surroundings are very secluded and peaceful. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch and sitting in the hot tub. (The only thing that could make the stay better, in my opinion, would be to install a newer lock box system.) Also, the hosts are very reliable and quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely stay with Great Smokys Cabin Rentals again!

Surrounded by woods and super private which we loved! (You can't see any other houses from the property. Could hear dogs barking occasionally nearby but that was it). We spent so much time grilling on the porch, in the hot tub, and having a campfire. Great if you have dogs because the porch has doggie gates. Lots of wonderful hiking trails within a 30 minute drive. The inside was very cute, well kept, and there were a lot of thoughtful touches like plenty of towels, coffee fixins, kitchen/grilling supplies, and even a little doggie towel for our pup. I think I could live in the master bathroom it's so nice?? Thanks for a great stay! Unrelated to the house: Swain County is a dry county (except for at 'resorts' like NOC) so buy alcohol in Bryson City limits before coming to the house. Gas stations won't have beer as we discovered lol.

Amazing getaway

Perfectly located, close enough to nearby attractions and amenities yet picturesquely secluded you feel hidden from everything. Place is well equipped, very comfortable and clean. Definitely recommended, would stay again.
