Parkview Lodge: Situated Across From The National Park With A Private Pool!

We call this property Parkview Lodge. It’s very descriptive because it is on a mountain with all of the views of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

There are thousands of cabins in the Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge area but very few have this kind of positioning and privacy.

This property has always been a residence until now. It has a gated driveway and the views that you get are not another house next to you.
It also has an inground swimming pool with water brooks on each end of the house. You hear the sound of water everywhere!

The house is furnished with new furniture and it’s not cheap furniture. I think you can tell by the pictures.
If you’re wondering why there are no reviews it is because we just started listing it. The roads to the house are fully paved and very easy to drive. At the base of the mountain there is an 18 hole golf course. There is also three other swimming pools and a tennis court and a basketball court.

This is a perfect place for a family that wants to build some great memories.
Or for a couple that wants a special place to get married! Or even a career professional who just wants some peace and quiet in an incredible atmosphere! Some of the features and amenities of the house include:
🏊‍♀️ An outdoor swimming pool and a large hot tub.
🔥 Two gas-fired fire pits and one woodburning fire pit.
🎱A large game room with a 9 ft pool table; a 14 foot shuffle board; a foosball table; Game tables and a pinball machine that is a virtual pinball with over 1000 games and the façade changes back to the original for each game! It’s a lot of fun to play!
🎮4 K wide screen video gaming station with Play Station 5 and Xbox loaded with games!

🎶 Sony stereo receiver in the game room where you can Bluetooth your music and stream it down to the pool.
👩‍🦽 Handicap Friendly. Two steps from the driveway and you’re in the house!
🛌 5 Bedroom house with 2 king beds and 3 Queen beds. 3 queen hide a bed couches, one upstairs and one down stairs. This house can easily sleep 16 adults. There are four bedrooms on the ground floor and one downstairs.
All bedrooms have a flat screen TV. There are 10 flatscreen TVs throughout the house!
The master bedroom has a desk behind windows with views of the smoky mountains. There is also views of a water stream running down to a pond where a small bridge leads to the outdoor fire pit.

🧑‍💻 The Wi-Fi Is excellent and the house is fitted with extenders so you have it wherever you go.
🛀 This house has four bathrooms. The master bathroom has a 72 inch claw tub!
🔥 There are three fireplaces in the house.
👩‍🍳 The kitchen is very large and opens to the dining room. It is loaded with all the things that you will need that you use at home! For sure I don’t think you’ll ever see a dining room table like the one you will see at this house anywhere in Gatlinburg or pigeon Forge! 15 to 17 people could sit at that table!
📚 The living room upstairs has two Electric La-Z-Boy chairs.‘s. It also has a sideboard with bookshelves loaded with books about the national park as well as adult and children classics . The living room downstairs has a nice layout in front of the fireplace and a flat screen TV. There is also a desk behind windows with views of the mountains.
A door on the floor opens to the pool area.
🙅‍♂️ Access to the swimming pool is for adult supervision. Safety gates are in place for toddlers or young children.
🪣 Cleanliness is very important to me. The cleaning charge only goes to the person who’s doing the cleaning. So the people we use are very good at what they do!
👷‍♂️ I live on the same mountain where this property is. So service is very important to me and important to you. You’ve probably heard the stories of people who had things go wrong and they called the company who managed the property only to wait for hours or days!
We don’t do that! When you have a problem we want to respond as quickly as we can. So my cell phone is on the welcome sheet when you check in where you can text or call me if you need anything!

🍷 We always have a welcome gift of wine and chocolates and cookies and a card so that you can always reach me. We want you to build wonderful memories with your family that’s our goal!

This was a perfect property for our family Christmas retreat! (7 adults & 5 children) The vista from the back deck is fantastic, the heated pool was a huge hit with the kids, the game room had something for everyone, the expansive dining and kitchen were fully stocked, and the bed/bath facilities were comfortable. But the real highlight was our black bear sightings…one within a couple hours of arrival, and four the last evening we were there.We anlso enjoyed exploring, fishing and playing in the stream along the Greenbriar trail in Smoky Mountain Nat’l Park…just across the road. Jeff and Olenia were very friendly and responsive hosts…answering all our questions promptly.

The house was gorgeous and the view is better than the pictures. The host was very communicative and helpful, especially with the bear warnings (we had a visitor within the first couple of hours). I couldn't recommend this house enough!

Our whole family loved Parkview Lodge! We had an outing every day, but gladly spent most of our time at the house enjoying view, pool, hot tub and huge game room. My grandsons and I also loved looking for frogs and tadpoles in the two ponds. We had 4 bear sightings from the property, which was a highlight. The house had everything that it needed for us to be beyond comfortable. My husband and I agreed that it was our best family vacation yet, allowing a ton of quality time together. Parkview Lodge was a huge part of that being possible!

Great Family Get-Away

What a wonderful stay. And, yes, we saw bears! I’m a grandma traveling with my 3 children & their families. The layout of the home was perfect for us. The pool & hot tub were great but the unexpected highlight was the game room. Wi-fi was very good. There was a baby bed plus playpen for the youngest child.My GPS took me right to the cabin but others did not. Because of that I would not want to arrive at night. During the day it is easy to follow signs to the address. Location was convenient. It is an easy 30 minute drive to get to either Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. Side note: for an outing with good children activities our favorite place was Ober Mountain. My grandchildren range in age from 1 to 11 and there were activities for all, including the adults.I don’t think we could have found a place better suited to our family than Parkview Lodge.

This home is an excellent place for family to be together. We do a trip every 2 years with our kids and grandkids. We loved this home. Game room and pool were a big hit with everyone. Home is beautiful and plenty of room for everyone to be together. Owners were very responsive to any questions. Highly recommend.

Great Getaway with Family!

We had an amazing trip at Parkview Lodge! We had 4 different family groups staying together and the layout of the house worked great for sleeping arrangements for all ages and bedtimes. We loved that we were able to prep food in the kitchen for such a large group, there were 2 grills and plenty of propane. Everyone was able to relax and enjoy!

House was lovely, we had three familes (11 people) staying for our trip. Kids and adults really enjoyed the game room, pool, and hot tub! Had a great view of the smoky mountains, setting was quiet and peaceful. Definitely would stay at this location again. Not to far from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Excellent views and beautiful home

We were a total of 12 people (3 families) and really enjoyed the amenities of this property. I would say the cleanliness was a little lacking in the kitchen and details of the home, but overall ok in cleanliness. The other thing I will mention is that the rooms are not exactly as they are listed on the listing which threw us off a little bit as we had to fit kids and families into rooms a certain way. Breathtaking views, amazing game room, we really enjoyed the space.

Tennessee Family Vacation

The property was just as advertised. A beautiful home, tastefully furnished and decorated. We made great use of the game room and hot tub. The host and owner were very nice and helpful. Location was great, close to Gatlinburg and the Smokey mountains. Great view of the park. My whole family had a great time and all agreed that we would stay again.

Wish we never had to leave!

This was a dream come true! With such beautiful views, luxury finishes, fun for the whole family with the game room, TVs in all bedrooms and living areas, the hot tub and the fire place with the speakers playing music to the pool was a huge hit. We made lifetime lasting memories as a family. With Bear sightings from the balcony, and down the road playing in the creek, it was truly a one of a kind experience! The host Jeff and co-host Oliena were very responsive to any of our needs. The house is fully stocked with seasonings and spices, coffee, and other complementary items. We really enjoyed our stay!

Overall Great Experience

The view and bears were the best part of trip. We got a call before our trip and explained they had active bears. We were told all the precautions we needed to take. I do really appreciate that they allowed us to check in earlier. Since we have a large party we tend to cook in the cabin a few meal. We noticed the ice maker wasn’t working. They stated they would send someone to check it. The next morning we noticed the fire place in kitchen, the central heat was not working in living/kitchen space and the coffee pot was missing. They sent a worker to bring a coffee pot and check the other things mentioned. He let us know the ice maker never worked, he brought a coffee pot.Ir was too big for the coffee maker so we just used pods the whole time. He couldn’t get the kitchen fireplace to work and would send someone to look at it. As far as the heat they were aware it wasn’t working before we arrived and didn’t tell us. They did bring a tiny space heater. My FIL had to stay wrapped in a blanket and in front of fire. They have a gate at top of stairs. Amenities: used game-room and hot tub. We couldn’t use other amenities. You pay 100 extra (min 3) for heated pool.The outdoor fire pits we couldn’t get lit. minor updates needed in cabin.Along with updated utensils(spatulas/wooden spoons) bed were not as listed (queen and kings) 1 or 2 seemed to be full. The one we slept on was uncomfortable. Only updated bathroom is the master. Others need to be upgraded. overall 4/5 stars.

Making Memories

They are not kidding about the bears! They greeted our family on arrival but were not an issue throughout our stay. The property has almost anything you could want and is well maintained. The game room was a huge hit! Despite the cold weather we were able to use the pool and spa. The view of the park is magnificent! However, the drive up to the lodge is very steep and we would not recommend coming and going at night.We enjoyed our stay very much!

Amazing time!

This place is beautiful. We had a great time with our group of eight guys. Plenty of great amenities and room to spread out. The game room was an awesome place to hang after sun down. The view from the pool is top notch. We will definitely book again!
