This place is amazing. A little bit of a drive to New Orleans but well worth the quiet. It is beautiful inside and amazingly stocked with everything you could possibly need. Beds were super comfortable. Morning coffee on the porch was a daily occurrence. Highly recommend.

A Lovely Property

We so enjoyed our stay. We made a great choice to enjoy New Orleans from a distance. This property was a welcome getaway from the hustle and bustle of New Orleans. So peaceful. We loved it, especially the lake views with pelicans!

Family getaway

This house perfectly accommodated 3 couples. Couches are extremely comfortable and recline. Beautiful sunrises over the lake. Lots of birds and very peaceful. Would definitely book again!

Amazing views and great accomodations

Took my family to New Orleans for the first time and when we stumbled on the listing for this property it seemed almost too good to be real. The house is very accommodating for four adults, everything was clean, and the views are spectacular. Also very convenient to some great food in Slidell and other activities. Spacious parking, and again that view…. Loves our stay , highly tecommend

Great House!

The house was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Everything you could need is there for you. It was nice to visit New Orleans, and then come home to a quiet place on the lake. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here, and would definitely come back if we get back to this area.

Sweet fishing vacay

We had a fantastic time! Such a great location for fishing. It was so much fun to watch the men in our family behave like little boys filled with excitement to fish! Patty and her husband were very hospitable, helpful, and accommodating. We felt very welcome. We hope to return soon.

Great Time at The Comptons

We loved our time on the lake! Check in was easy and very accommodating. Patty went above and beyond. Everything you need is here and it was great to have both cities so close by.The seafood business next door can be loud at times but turned into a great conversation starter. Beautiful place

Lovely spot on the water

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well appointed home. We loved relaxing on the deck. And fishing from the dock and trying out the crab pots was fantastic!! Easy to get into New Orleans each day and tranquil to return to. Thanks Patty for sharing your wonderful home with us. 😊
