Steps To The Beach

Summer may be over but fall on the island is a wonderful time of year to visit. Plenty availability to book the Thanksgiving long Weekend. Book now before those dates are taken! The Weather is typically beautiful and mild, great for out door activities. We are literally just steps to the beach, on the scenic route in the seaside village of Mill Bay, BC. Our garden suite has a lovely view of the ocean where the sunrises greet you each morning. Restaurants are walking distance as is our marina, community wharf & shopping mall. Wine tasting at 9 nearby vineyards or hike, bike, golf, play pickleball at our neighbourhood courts, we have it all for a holiday to remember. Close to Victoria for easy day trips. Steps to the Beach is a hidden Gem. Discover us.

The place was very comfortable. Comfortable bed tho a little “creaky”. It is a basement suite so some noise from people walking around upstairs. It was very rainy so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors much and that is definitely part of the charm of the rental.

Yes it was very unfortunate that the weather didn't cooperate better during your visit. I agree a big part of the charm of my Ground Level garden suite is the outdoor space and close proximity to the ocean. I didn't know that the bed was creaky, so I checked it out and it seems the screws on the left side of the frame need to be tighten. It's on my fix it list!

Steps to the beach is a lovely picturesque area to spend a vacation. There was nothing that Shannon forgot to equip us with. It was very quiet and pleasant. The suite was spotless and water pressure was great for showers. Close to any stores you might need. Beautiful place to enjoy morning coffee with a view of the blooming gardens. Maybe you found it difficult to navigate the stepping stone pathway? It's best to pick up luggage rather than try and roll it over the lawn and stepping stones, especially if the luggage wheels are smaller. Other than that I don't quite understand your comment that the suite is difficult to get to? To gain entry, you go to the south side of the house, to the backyard, where the door to the suite is located. Not sure what I can do to improve it. Thanks!
