Welcome to The Riverhouse! A charming 3 bedroom 2 bath home located right on the Tennessee River!! A 180 degree view of the river and mountains surround you on the deck creating the perfect place to unwind and relax in this peaceful setting. Encompassed by beauty and wildlife, this home is only 15 minutes away from Downtown and 20 minutes away from some of Chattanooga's best attractions!! During the day, take advantage of the dock, canoe, and the kayaks that this property provides in this superb outdoor setting!

The Riverhouse comfortably sleeps 7 people. When entering the front door the open concept living room, dining room and kitchen welcomes you with a beautiful view of the Tennessee River. On the left is the master bedroom with a large king bed and a very spacious ensuite bathroom that has a walk-in closet. Across the living room are two more bedrooms and another full bathroom. These two bedrooms both have queen beds; one of which offers a twin size trundle bed underneath. Wake up and enjoy your cup of coffee on the large deck that overlooks the river! There is a smart TV in the living room and a smart TV in every bedroom. There is high speed wireless internet throughout the home but there is NO cable or satellite TV. To watch movies, we have a Netflix account that you can use but you will need to log into your own accounts if you'd like to use Prime, HBO, etc.

The Riverhouse is very family friendly and provides a pack'n play, a booster seat, first aid supplies, and has a lockable gate on the front deck so children can be safe and under adult supervision while playing outside. The fully stocked kitchen and new appliances offer a great place to cook meals for the whole family during your stay! Outside, there is grill and plenty of seating to enjoy the view.

**Please note that this is a guest home on the property and the main house is also a vacation rental. There may be other guests staying at the property during the length of your stay. The riverfront and the dock are a shared space on the property. The guest home is completely separate from the main home.

Great place on Tennessee River

My husband, mom, and a friend had four nights at River House and absolutely loved it. The location is very convenient to downtown Chattanooga, attractions and supplies, but is quiet and a lovely place to chill on the deck out front. We also enjoyed The Upper Bank Restaurant, which is about a half mile from the house. Everything is clean, the are terrific; all is just as described. We'll definitely be booking this place again!

Best view in the area

The location on the Tennessee River makes this a great rental. Incredible view of the mountains and the dock and canoe were great.

Great location, beautiful view.

Beyond the beauty of the view and area, not much great to say. Go with expectations low and enjoy!! If your expectations are high, keep looking. Lots of cleaning and maintenance issues. However, alerted property management company...Hopefully all issues will be addressed.

Fishing trip

The house was comfortable. Great location just far enough out of town to enjoy the peace and quiet but close enough to enjoy great food. Highly recommend. And recomen the feed Co. for food.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic!! The house was very nice and clean. Everything we needed was provided by Brianna within a timely manner. The view was breathtaking and such a relaxing time to sit outside. We definitely are looking forward to returning to this wonderful home !! 😊

Very Relaxing/Beautiful View

We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and was very well furnished with everything you might need in kitchen/bathroom (lots of towels and toilet paper 😁). Very quiet while we were there. Not sure how quiet it would be if someone was renting adjacent house with lots of people. Overall we give it an A+

Great spot for family

We loved staying here for an extended weekend. We has a 3yo and a 6Yo, grandparents, and us, and everyone had plenty of room. We didn’t need it because the outside had so much to offer. We hung out on the porch and the dock. It is about a 20 minute drive towards downtown but it’s not a bad one, just something to be aware of. We’ve already referred 2 other friends to the house and hope to come back!

Lakeside under the stars

This was my first experience using VRBO. The booking process went wonderfully, and the host was quick to respond to my requests prior to my stay as well as during my stay. The proximity of the house was the perfect spot as we were in town to visit with family and celebrate my uncle’s 90th Birthday by watching him jump out of an airplane at the nearby Chattanooga Skydiving Company in Jasper (11 miles down the road). The house was lovely and had an incredible view of the lake, and the interior was simply beautiful. So clean and inviting. All the bedrooms were perfect size. I choose the master with the King-size bed. The attached master bathroom was like a whole additional room. Both bathrooms were well stocked with towels and washcloths. The host displays their sense of humor with a cute sign on the bathroom wall. I loved it!! I don’t want to spoil it for future renters. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with pots and pans and all that was needed for our stay as we do enjoy cooking. There are some restaurants very close-by for those that would like to relax and let someone else do the cooking. Though the skydiving was exciting to watch I will say that my favorite part of my stay came after the sun was down and everything was peaceful. Oh my… the stars. It was the most incredible view of the galaxy, and I took many pictures. Thank you so much for allowing me into your wonderful home and giving me space for creating these beautiful memories.

Nice weekend stay

Nice property and right on the river. Boat dock and canoe/kayaks great bonus. A little pricey for location but overall a nice stay.

Perfect spot on the river

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this river house! The home was very clean and decorated beautifully. The only problem we had was ants in the kitchen upon arrival, and they continued to be a problem if any dishes or food were left in the sink. Other than that, we had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare meals! Our kids loved fishing from the dock and using the kayaks and canoes. It was close enough to Chattanooga to enjoy all the tourist attractions downtown while being able to stay away from it all! Thank you for a great stay!

Gorgeous property comes with riverfront access and kayaks. Very clean and updated. Private and quiet. Hosts were excellent communicators and immediately answered any questions I had. Would stay here, hands down, again.

Great home and location for anyone!

Loved this home. Location was close to most of the things we did while in town. Canoes and kayaks for our use was a nice bonus, gave the four kids something to do for the times we were at the house. Inside of home was very clean and very updated. We had 3 girls stay in the bedroom with the trundle bed and the boy got the queen room. Master bedroom is on opposite side of house, always a plus. Kitchen had the best inventory of cooking/dinnerware of any rental house we have ever stayed at! We cook most of our meals while on vacation and the typical kitchen is lacking some things, not this one, great job owners! The home had some games that were new and really fun. Made the downtimes better. The driveway is steep and tight, (like most up there) watch the traffic while getting in, people don't slow down on the road. Overall this house was fantastic and we recommend to any and everyone!
