Nestled in the woods in the heart of Corolla, this sound0-side gem has great community amenities which include an oceanfront pool with beach access and gear rental/set up, snack bar, tennis courts, and fitness center nearby additional pool which is within walking distance from the house. Regardless of what time of year you decide to visit, you won't have trouble filling each day with coastal fun!

You can enter the house from here where you’ll find hardwood laminate flooring throughout, three bedrooms, a full bath (accessible from hall and bunk room), in addition to a half bath. Upstairs, family gatherings will be a hit with a sleek and modern full kitchen which is open to the dining and living area - complete with an electric fireplace. Enjoy neighborhood views and morning coffee on the furnished deck. You’ll also find a half bath and laundry nook off the great room. The primary suite is large and open with a king bed, slider providing deck access, and a private bath with the perfect walk-in shower.

Family vacation

Great home for price. Water Pressure is lacking and needs adjusting. Had problem with heat and air conditioning until day before we left, very uncomfortable (HOT!)

NJ to OBX

This is the second year our family has chosen OBX as our vacation spot. This property is wonderfully located close to the beach, the light house, shopping. Everything was just a minute or two away. The house was perfect for our family, even a bit too big maybe! The house was clean and stocked with towels. There was a grill, beach chairs, shovels. Lots of extra things for our enjoyment. Would definitely recommend this property.

It was “good”

The house seemed to still be under construction, wires out etc. Not the best house for a toddler. No baby gate + not toddler proof. Good location, not much takeout that could be delivered to the house. Nice community. Overall stay was “good”.

Great Location

My family of four recently stayed at this property and overall we had a wonderful time. The location was perfect for us. Quiet neighborhood with a community pool, tennis courts and a playground for the littles. It is a short walk to the beach and restaurants.

Great location with access to a pool that is connected to the beach entrance. Easy access to dining, supermarket, and entertainment. The property is new so everything was in great shape except the dishwasher and the laundry, which were not properly deep cleaned.

Great location

This was a nice house in a great location. The house had dead bugs on the walls downstairs. The a/c did not work. The garage had a garage door opener that wasn't connected to electricity, so you had to manually open and close the door to get out the beach equipment and bicycles we brought. The Vacasa management group did nothing about the a/c until we went in to the office. They got portable units installed within a day, which was great. They said they would adjust our bill for the incovenience but wouldn't return any calls after we checked out.

Great New Year's Eve Getaway

Picked this new house to celebrate the New Year Holiday. The house is nesting in pine trees and the neighborhood is quiet and serene. Our journey's atmosphere was packed with emotions we had at this place.

Great location, some amenities not included.

The house has a great location, close to the very walkable marine reserve, the Lighthouse and the Historic Corolla Village, as well as a shopping area with some restaurants and a bakery, mini-golf, etc. All within easy walking distance, although we used our bikes as well. The house looks brand new and is very comfortable. I would say the one thing we were missing was a dish rack for drying dishes. There were only 4 of us, and it would be wasteful to run a dishwasher every day for a handful of dishes we used. If you cook a lot and for a larger crowd, it might not be an issue. We really would have no complaint at all about the rental, but part of our rental agreement was access to the recreation amenities, including tennis courts, which we were looking forward to. On site, it turned out that the courts were padlocked and locals explained that there is a $15 fee to access them. We called Vacasa about not being able to access the courts and we were told someone from the local team would call us back. They never did. As I said, we got our answer from the neighbors. In the end we were unable to use the courts and never received a call back. I can definitely say the house is definitely highly recommended and I thank the owners for its use, but I am disappointed with the service we received from Vacasa and the fact that we paid for something we did not receive (access to recreation). Still have not heard back from them at all.

Great house for a family of 4.

We have been enjoying the Outerbanks for 17 years and have always stayed in the Villages at Ocean Hill. This is the first year that we did not travel with additional family and friends and therefore this house was the perfect set up for us and our two teens. It does not have pool or hot tub, which is fine with us as we spend most of our time at the beach. The house was very new and clean and set up well for our family. The Friday to Friday check in was great too as we were coming from spending a week in Hilton and then continuing on for college tours on the back end so it gave us the weekend to finish our tours and get home to CT at a reasonable time. Our only issue was the lack of kitchen utensils and serving bowls. The house only came with one small serving bowl and we do tend to cook most nights so the first couple were a little challenging. We managed by purchasing some Tupperware and then we left it so that hopefully it would help out future visitors. That said the kitchen was nice and open and all of the appliances worked well. It is a house that we would consider staying at again in the future!!

Construction Next Door but Nice & Comfortable

This property was nice, but it was not disclosed that they are building a new house next door. Therefore our vacation consisted of hammering, sawing, and nail guns from 8am till 4pm. If you have a pet like us that is scared of noises, or small children that need to nap or sleep in I say don’t stay here until building is complete. The electronic lock stopped working during our stay so we were locked out for about 40 minutes with our dog with the hammering, etc., however the property manager responded promptly and got it fixed. Aside from the above two issues the place is really nice, clean, and modern. The beds and couches were very comfortable! Although this did not affect us, I want to disclose that due to their only being one TV there is not enough seating to watch tv if you bring more than 5. The description does state “Television”, so they are accurate in disclosing one television, but it would be nice to have TV’s in other bedrooms which would solve the lack of seating to watch tv and/or to watch while in bed. Decor was beautiful! I loved that they leave a few small amenities to get you started! Kitchen amenities were nice, but a couple of small items that affected us was no spatula for grilling/cooking, and no large casserole dish. This house is close to dining, shopping and grocery stores which is a plus after a long drive. The parking pass gave us a 1-3 minute drive to the beach, which was wonderful! I recommend this house but ask if the construction is complete before booking. I will actually ask this from now on as it did ruin our peaceful vacation we had hoped for.

Tranquil Beach Escape

The house is basically brand new (which we liked) and the location is great. It’s nestled in a quiet beach community and good for those who are escaping the busy city life for a little R&R. If you are interested in the night life I wouldn’t recommend, but If you are looking for some peace, quiet and tranquility this is it.

Quiet and cozy

Property was perfect. It did not have a private pool or hot tub, but the community has a great pool. We walked each morning and took kids fishing to the catch and release pond. They loved seeing turtles. It was easy 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk to beach. Kitchen had basic supplies but did lack Tupperware and basic storage containers. There was only one television in the central living space. It forced us to spend more time together so I loved. I would recommend this property without hesitation.

This was a wonderful stay in a quiet area of the outer banks! We loved the local feel and how we had the beaches pretty much to ourselves. This home was perfect for our stay!
