Beautiful Adirondack Cabin Rentals • 365/days of Outdoor Family Fun!
ABOUT TRAILSIDE RANCH • Located inside the Adirondack Park, Trailside Ranch is a ten acre, off the grid ranch, at the end of Partridgeville Road and the beginning of Paradise! It is surrounded by the pristine 76,000 acre Independence River Wild Forest Preserve. Trailside Ranch has direct access from your cabin to hundreds of miles of Snowmobile and ATV trails. We have lots of year round family friendly outdoor activities! We offer ATV rentals to our guests. We are also nearby to an ample amount of horse trails.
GOING ‘GREEN’ • We strongly feel that it is our responsibility to preserve the integrity of our surroundings and respect the beauty and serenity of the Adirondacks. As an ongoing part of our 'green' efforts, we have installed a state-of-the-art solar power system that harnesses the sun's energy to power the entire ranch.
CABIN RENTALS • Your Trailside Ranch hosts are Tiffany and Adam Light along with their daughter and son in law, Makena and Jonah Denton. On site hosts are always available. Our Sugar Shack cabin was originally built circa 1940 and rebuilt in 2018. The cabin has been completely modernized and refurbished yet maintains its original authentic rustic charm. It is a beautiful one bedroom, 1 full bath cabin that sleeps 2 guests; The master bedroom overlooks beautiful Otter Creek where you can enjoy the peacefulness of water flowing whiling falling asleep at night. It has a private screened in porch with a propane fireplace that also lends a view of Otter Creek. There is an open kitchen dining area, And a cozy living room with a propane fireplace. The Sugar Shack has a full service kitchen equipped with dinnerware, appliances and cooking utensils. Linens and towels are supplied for each guest. The comfy cabin is heated using a propane fireplace. There is a gas grill for outside cooking. Smoking is allowed on the porch only and is not permitted in the cabins.
HORSES ARE WELCOME• The spacious, lighted stalls that can accommodate up to 10 horses. Stalls are first come first serve. Please call ahead to check stall availability. The cost per stall is $35.00 per night. Our fenced pastures provide ample grazing for your horse(s).Water is available at the stables. Guests must bring their own hay and grain. All required vet records need to be provided prior to bringing horses to our stables.
ATV RENTALS ARE AVAILABLE ON SITE. Contact your host if you are interested in renting a side by side to explore the beautiful trails or just ride around the area visiting waterfalls, going to dinner and just enjoying the outdoors.
SNOWMOBILE RENTALS AVAILABLE ON SITE. Contact your host if you are interested in renting a snowmobile to explore the beautiful trails. We offer guided tours to take you through the beautiful winter scenery. Along the way, you can stop at many restaurants to get a warm meal as you enjoy the experience.

Adam & Tiffany are your hosts, which live one mile from Trailside Ranch, the main property to our sister property Fish Camp Village, which is also one mile from Trailside Ranch. Their daughter Makena and son-in-law Tyler lives on site in the main ranch house.
Adam & Tiffany found their passion for the Adirondacks in 2014 when they started vacationing at the Ranch with their two children, Dylan and Makena. They lived in Pennsylvania and would frequent the Ranch to Snowmobile, ride ATV and enjoy nature. In 2018 they got married in front of the waterfalls at the Ranch. In 2019 they purchased their own home which is two miles from the Ranch. In 2020, the owner of the Ranch offered Adam and Tiffany the opportunity to manage the resort. Taking a leap, they resigned from their full-time jobs in PA and made a lifestyle change to move to the Adirondacks full time.
Dylan returned to PA to pursue his career as he had just graduated college. Makena chose to stay in NY and help run the family business. Tyler is a native to upstate NY, more of a city boy, who has adjusted to the country Ranch life quite well. They have 2 horses, Derek and Daisy, that will greet you at the pasture fence daily. Makena is a vet tech with a true passion for animals. Upon check-in you will meet Tiffany and Adam to say hello and familiarize you with the resort. Their goal is to make everyone who stays here to feel like family visiting their home away from home while they enjoy these two amazing properties in the heart of the Adirondacks.
