Remodeled cabin on Shawano Lake

Located directly on Shawano Lake, this home is perfect for swimming, boating, fishing, and ATV/snowmobile trips. This listing is suitable for family vacations and adult weekends. Also, only a half hour drive to Lambeau for Packer games! Sleeps 12 in beds easily.

This 2-bedroom home with a separate bunk house can sleep 12 people comfortably and has 2 full size bathrooms along with a 3rd outdoor shower. The large kitchen with a bar is perfect for meals and has plenty of seating for happy hours.

Outdoor covered patio also gives you dining and gathering options for those unexpected rain delays.

This home also has Wi-Fi for those working from home. Two kayaks are available for rent; $30 per kayak for your stay. Notification at booking is recommended or at least two weeks prior to check in. Liability waiver must be signed.

Firewood can be pre-ordered for $10 a basket, will last three to four hours.

The dock is seasonal.

The beach is raked and cleaned on a weekly basis; however if needed during your stay there are community takes on left side of property by trees.

If you notice any damages upon arrival please communicate immediately to avoid any potential disputes.

The property is in a great location and wonderful to be right on the water with a nice level front lawn for the kids to play. The property manager was very easy to communicate with and very attentive.

First - we never received the code to get in and had to reach out multiple times. Second - the bunk house smelled awful! Like someone has smoked multiple times in there…anyone who stayed in the bunk house woke up not feeling well, and all there stuff came home smelling like smoke as well. Third - Upon arrival we noticed kayaks. We reached out to finally learn that they are available for rent and need to sign waiver. After multiple back and forth, we figured that out. But why wasn’t that notified before hand?Also….The property flooded while we were there, and had to attempt to move water to get to the bunk house without walking through 2 ft of water….we finally found a drain that was overgrown and covered. There was goose poop everywhere where clearly it wasn’t cleaned anytime recently, or someone hasn’t been there recently. I understand it’s hard to stop that but still disgusting with young kids and bare feet….would be nice to attempt to clean up. The lighting was very dark inside. We were told there would be a griddle and there wasn’t.Chairs outside were broken. Pictures showed picnic table, and there wasn’t a picnic table.The beds were so loud and so uncomfortable!!Finally, shortly after arrival we had to fix a broken shower head/bar and toilet that wouldn’t stop running.For a first family vacation, we hoped for a better experience, especially for the cost.

Thank your for the feedback, Michelle. Although we are quite surprised that you never brought any of these supposed issues to our attention during your week long stay. You were given the check in code morning of arrival, just as our instructions say. We do not give out prior to that to avoid possible interruptions of other guests. Same thing with the kayaks. We specifically told you we did not have a griddle. It sounds like didn’t read anything about the listing when you booked it. The property did not flood. You may have had to walk thru a couple puddles during a heavy thunderstorm but there was no flooding onsite and we do our best to manage the geese; albeit part of lake life. We have had guests there all summer and no complaints on the beds or a smoke smell in the bunkhouse. Maybe one of your guests went against our house rules and smoked inside without your knowledge. Again, we are disappointed we did not hear about any of this during your stay. To all future guests, just let us know any concerns you may have and we’ll do our best to address for you!

Loved this cabin! Great part of Shawano lake, close to Sandbar! Loved the bar overlooking the lake, gorgeous! Would highly recommend!

Host was good, responsive. I do not feel this cabin is as equiped as it should be. there is very little kitchen plates/glasses/cookwear. There were 3 rolls of toilet paper total. there was no remote control for the TV. overall there were many parts that were dirty.

Great outdoor living space with dock

We came up for a long labor day weekend. The exterior didnt disappoint. A beautiful covered patio, excellent fire place and dock for our pontoon, which you can rent within walking distance.

Perfect

Very clean, updated, and lots of open space. There were two bedrooms and a separate bunk house for sleeping space. Shower was very nice - even had an outdoor shower. Yard space was great. Cute little covered outdoor bar area. Kitchen was beautiful.

Summer vacation

The house and bunk house were nice and very clean. The outdoor shower was wonderful!! The lake is a bit weedy for swimming but the kids enjoyed the kayaks. We would stay here again. The only wish items would be grilling utensils and more blankets. Our favorite thing was the outdoor dining area!! The bar was wonderful for hanging out and eating meals and the fireplace had a fire every night!!!! Thank you for a great stay!

Cabin on the Lake

We had a lovely time. Host was responsive and checked in and told us about local activities but was not overbearing in anyway. The space was a dream, immaculate and with everything you could need and so much space but the real draw was those lovely windows to the lake. We did have a few things stop working but the host was responsive and offered great solutions.

Peaceful spot

The house has a great set up for entertaining and a beautiful view of the lake. We had three kids with us and had travelled from the East coast so we did go purchase a couple of inner tubes, fishing poles and a yard game for the kids to play with. The owner did provide some water noodles for their use as well. Enjoyed our stay and the great communication with the owner.
