Kihei Bay Surf Studio #218 is an upstairs studio with vaulted ceilings and a fully equipped kitchen. It has a queen bed, sofa sleeper and sleeps 3. There is a room unit air conditioner in the living room as well as a ceiling fan and a flat screen TV . Kihei Bay Surf Studio #218 is equipped with unlimited calling to U.S. and Canada and wireless internet service. Coin-operated laundry room on-site.
Please note: This unit is on the second floor with no elevator available.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.
We work to maintain a very accurate website. At times furniture, decor or flooring may be upgraded and pictures are not updated yet. This would not change the seating, sleeping, function or views of the condo. Amenities are accurately and clearly listed for your convenience.
The Kihei Bay Surf is located in North Kihei across the street from the Whale Sanctuary and Kalepolepo Beach and an ancient Hawaiian fishpond. Each studio has a fully equipped kitchen, Cable TV and can sleep 2 people. In addition there is a large pool, hot tub, tennis court, gas grills and common laundry areas for your use. Whale watch, windsurf, walk the beach and enjoy the most amazing sunsets imaginable. The Kihei Bay Surf is centrally located to shops, restaurants and is just minutes from the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena. This is one of the best values in Kihei.

Short stay

Cozy little place to decompress before heading over to Kaanapali. Close to everything, and a good starting point for exploring Makena, Kula and the like.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The living space was well stocked, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the location as it was quiet yet not too far from stores and restaurants. Unfortunately the road is closed at one end due to some flooding but once that is open again it makes heading to west Maui easy. We would return and recommend the Kihei Bay Surf!

What we needed

Just what we needed. There was a flood right before we came so the streets were covered in mud, all that really meant for us was a quiet neighborhood. There were beach chairs and umbrellas on the lanai and beach towels in the closet. We spent most of our time out and this was a convenient and affordable place to stay.

Best. Trip. Ever.

We loved this cute, comfortable property! It was convenient to every place we wanted to go, and was clean, safe, and so sweet. Lots of extra thoughtful touches made it such a fun stay, and we stayed an entire week. Some of the things we really loved were all of the places and surfaces to store things, the generous shower, the laundry facilities nearby, the proximity to so many beaches, and all the little things we didn’t know we would need, like a cocktail shaker, cooler bag, and beach chairs.. This was just perfect for us. We will be back, without a doubt.

Each evening we walked across the street to watch the sunset and the large green turtles swim up to the beach to rest for the night. Polo beach is a great beach to snorkel to see colorful fish, turtles and eels.

We enjoyed going across the street to the beach and watching the sunset and the large green sea turtles come in to rest on the beach for the night. Condo clean. Snorkel gear, beach chairs and beach towels in condo. Polo beach is a great place to snorkel in the morning. One rude guy at hot tub policing the grill area. Over all, a wonderful place to stay.

Great location for vacation

Overall trip was amazing. Second time I stayed in the same complex. Our ceiling fan had the same frequency as someone else. In the middle of the night, the fan gets turned off and light goes on. It was a little frustrating felt like tug a war with waking up in the middle of the night to keep turning off the light and turning back the fan. The ac is not at a good location. The ac hits the furniture and it doesn’t really cool down the entire place. It was hard to sleep at night when you cannot even feel the coolness of the ac by the bed. The ac only cools the living room area. The living furniture should be moved so it better flows the ac. Also, the bed was uncomfortable.

My condo was infested with ants, and there was a bit of a leak in the ceiling when it rained. Overall good spot but the ants were an annoyance. Was able to get in touch with maintenance and he arrived within 30 mins and sprayed which helped.
