The house was lovely and the lady who managed the property was really helpful. The owners were also quick to respond when we a fuse tripped, and they were happy to put the cover on the pool overnight to maintain the water temperature. We felt, however, that the description of the property was not entirely accurate, and for our party, this caused problems. (We recognise that other groups might not find them a problem.) The fourth bedroom is actually a self-contained annexe which is part of the house, but accessed by going out of the front door and round to a side door. This room was meant for my elderly mother, but not suitable because of the access issue. Neither of my two daughters felt like being out there on their own either, so they had to share a room and we didn't use that room at all. Also, the pool does not belong to the property, but to the property next door. It is accessed by crossing an orchard with a path which was just a well trodden route across the soil. It was uneven with tree roots and rocks and very difficult for my elderly mother to navigate. We had sole use of the pool for our stay, but it didn't feel private because it was in the garden of the other house and visible from their terrace. Considering the distance of the pool from the house, it was also a shame that we weren't allowed to use the large pool house. The view from the pool itself, however, is stunning and the sunbeds are comfy.
