My Columbia House sits between Baltimore, Washington DC, and Annapolis. Historic Ellicott City, (county seat), is 8 miles close. The established family neighborhood is central to Columbia village centers offering shops, restaurants, entertainment, lakes, hiking trails + more. Guests will enjoy FiOS Quantum data-multiple with Laptop friendly work areas, Smart TV, and Gas fireplace in family room with pool table. Separate living room quiet conversations or catch-up on your reading. Huge deck with Propane grill, griddle, and smoker options for those who like to BBQ. An owner favorite is a walk along the Little Patuxent River that runs beside the neighborhood. For dinner and local treats, see owners favorites' list like Historic Savage Mill and Ellicott City. And lastly all the museums that Baltimore and Washington have to offer. Hop on the train in Laurel to check out either city.

The host answered all my questions very quickly, within a minute or two. We enjoyed the snacks, the fireplace, the Christmas decorations, the comfortable beds, and the pool table. We also enjoyed the peaceful front room with full window from wall to wall.

Perfect Family Getaway to DC

My family and I (4 adults and 3 kids) absolutely loved this property. It fit our needs perfectly and was a fantastic location to everything we wanted to do visiting DC. Will definitely stay here again!

Better than described

This is the kind of rental you hope to stay in when booking! Owner was nice and communicative during the whole process. Home was in a quiet neighborhood and beautifully decorated for the season. Very comfortable beds with good linens. Well stocked. Would stay here again.

Perfect gathering spot for family memorial

This house was perfect for us to gather for a family memorial. It was nice to be able to be together instead of in multiple hotel rooms. The house was well equipped and was well represented in the photos. Appreciated the little extras like multiple plugs by the bed, lots of hangers, good instructions, etc. Sitting outside was particularly nice and a few of our group took advantage of the pool table!

Beautiful home and location!

Columbia House is a home away from home. Very clean, spacious, and comfortable with EVERYTHING you need to feel at home. Loved the well-equipped kitchen with counter seating. Quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors, and more importantly the host Chris was great. We would definitely stay here again.

Close to Home

This home is perfect for family. Chris was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The pool table was an added bonus and kept the kids busy. Plenty of room to spread out and super neighborhood. Would recommend this house to family and friends.

Great house

We enjoyed this location alot. Host was very communicative. I did think it was a 4 bedroom because the listing said ok for 8 adults. We improvised by using blow ups in living room. Plenty of space for all :)

Excellent for family gathering

We really enjoyed our stay here. The one floor layout was great for us, sharing the home between two families with four adults and three kids. The house was well appointed and how they stocked the kitchen was much appreciated. Their flexibility with allowing pre-approved guests to stop by also enhanced our experience. Only thing to note is that there is no access to a washer or dryer; luckily they had extra linens available. I'd recommend this property for those looking for a family friendly place to gather.

Great stay

My son got married and we used the house for the reception. Had about 15 people held them all very well. There was no washer and dryer on site. I would have liked that. Overall great experience!

Very Nice Property

We enjoyed our stay very much. Located in a Nice and quiet neighborhood. The house was very well stocked with just about everything you would need. Very clean and roomy. Comfortable sofa and large smart TV. Easy internet access.The only thing we didn’t prefer were the super firmness of the beds in two of the bedrooms. Much too hard for our arthritic backs and joints. However one bedroom worked out perfectly so that was great.Communication with host was fantastic! He really takes pride in his rental and responds quickly. We will stay here again on a future trip.

Fantastic stay over Christmas

Situated in a quiet established neighborhood, and convenient to a variety of stores and restaurants. Living room and den areas are spacious and comfortable as were the bedrooms. The kitchen was outstanding. Stocked with everything you could possibly need plus many lesser used kitchen implements and appliances. We cooked dinner for 6 adults each night. The ample counter space easily accommodated several chefs. Although no laundry access, this is a perfect place for a week stay. The rental does not include the entire house, the basement is closed off and one of the owners did come and stay in the basement while we were there.

EXCELLENT STAY!

MyColumbiaHse was the perfect place for our family. The bedrooms were on the opposite side of the house from the gathering room, which made them quiet. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of bath towels and extra pillows. The gas grill on the deck was nice. The yard space for the kids to run and have water play was perfect. The pool table was a big hit! Plenty of driveway parking! Easy access to highway and grocery store. Communication was great and Chris even delivered muffins on check out day! We will definitely look for availability the next time we need housing in the Columbia, MD area!!

This was a perfect getaway and truly a home away from home in a really quiet neighborhood. Super clean and comfortable, this house offers everything one could need—a huge and well-supplies kitchen, couches to sink into, cozy beds, and a nice-sized yard. Chris checked with us to make sure we had everything we needed. What a great host!
