Rainbow Springs Serenity Vacation Home is a unique, four person, fully furnished, true riverfront property with the water running right under the house. With canoe, kayak and paddle board access and large private boat dock. Unfortunately due to insurance constraints we cannot offer the boat or slide. This property is located on the beautiful Rainbow Springs and nestled just outside the historic City of Dunnellon. It's less than 5 minutes from a public boat ramp, boat rentals, local restaurants, a state park, bike/walking trails and more. Enjoy the stunning river views from almost every room! This tranquil find is ideal for those looking for a family friendly home away from home.



Rainbow Springs Serenity Vacation Home | 2 bed / 1.5 bath | Sleeps 4 max in total:

* Absolute true waterfront home with river running under house.

* Private Dock with docking capability for boat and outdoor eating area with Polywood table and 4 Polywood Adirondack chairs.

*4 Polywood Adirondack chairs for lounging on dock.

* Easy access to spring with steps right off dock.

* Fully stocked kitchen, with a standard coffee maker/Keurig, new full sized refrigerator, freezer, new stove, dishwasher, air fryer / toaster oven and new microwave.

* Master Bedroom(Sleeps 2): King bed, private half bath, with TV. Absolute breathtaking riverfront views with private entrance off dock.

* Guest Bedroom(Sleeps 2): Queen bed with makeup vanity and TV.

* Full Bathroom with extra large walk in shower.

* Dining Room.

* Living room with large TV, couch, chair and chaise lounge.

*Screened and Furnished lanai with bamboo couch, recliner and dining room table for 4 with beautiful river views.

* Dryer.

* Outdoor Fire pit with 6 Adirondack chairs.

* Central Air and Heat.

* Outdoor shower with hot and cold water.

* This is absolutely a non smoking property, this means the ENTIRE property. This includes cigarettes, cigars, e-cigs, vaping etc.

* We do not allow pets at this time. This includes service animals.

* We are not offering the slide or boat due to insurance constraints.

This is a fantastic property! Very quiet, peaceful spot directly on the Rainbow River. The mornings were especially memorable, sitting out on the dock, drinking coffee and watching the abundant wildlife(otters, anhingas, and turtles to name a few). Kayaks, paddleboards, and floats were all included to maximize enjoyment of the river. Hope to stay there again in the future!

Absolutely loved this place, mornings overlooking the water with coffee is to die for. The outdoor shower was amazing, never took a bath inside.

Ms. Jo thought of everything. Both kinds of coffee pots, crock pots, air fryers, kayaks, and paddle boards. Everything we needed was there. Plenty of different spaces to hang out in. Will visit again!

Cute and cozy home, with awesome deck on the beautiful Rainbow River. Wonderful view and location. Easy water access for swimming, fishing and boating! Enjoyed our visit!

Relaxation on the River

It was a great location for tubing down to Swampy’s or just chilling on the dock. The waterfront access is amazing for the kayaks and paddle boards provided. Very comfortable inside and out.

Our stay at the Rainbow River Serenity Vacation Home was truly magical. There was a small hiccup when it came time to find water vessels for all four of us, as one of the boards was missing a fin, but aside from that, it was a wonderful stay. The way the sunlight greets the home in the morning brings such a sense of peace — it truly feels like the heart of Florida. We saw otters playing (a real treat!), an alligator, and so many birds, and everyone who floated by was so friendly. The place felt safe — secluded yet accessible — and we even enjoyed a cozy fire in the firepit one evening. The place was also spotless and had so many fun games to choose from. You can tell the hosts have thought of everything and genuinely care about making your stay special. The home has been in the family for generations, something you can feel the moment you pull into the drive.Anyone wanting an authentic river experience this place is a must! Thank you so much, Michael! We can’t wait to come back

Paradise!

This spot is beyond belief. Just roll up out on your suit forget the world and enjoy the river! We didn’t leave the deck the entire time we were there! The house is thoughtfully laid out and stocked. The grounds are well maintained and the place was spotless. I can’t wait to go back!

Jo was such an amazing host! Absolutely loved my stay here for my 29th Birthday. This has been one of my most memorable & relaxing experiences for a birthday and I'm glad I got to spend it on the river. The home has everything you need kayaks, paddle boards ect and all the indoor amenities. The beds were so comfy and the outdoor shower was a nice touch. Thank you so much for the beautiful stay, I cannot wait to return.

Very well equipped and stocked. Good location on river and not far from town/ restaurants if you need anything. We appreciated the firewood for the pit.

The property manager, Jo, was very friendly and accommodating. The house was equipped with everything we could possibly need, from sunscreen to umbrellas. The house was definitely quirky but its location right on the river was awesome. We loved waking up to steam coming off the river, otters swimming by and getting out for a kayak every day.

Great location and river access

We had a party of six with three kids and three adults spending the week playing and floating on the river. It was a great time. We brought two of our kayaks and river tubes and enjoyed floating, kayaking and swimming right off the dock.

My husband and I have visited 49 of our 50 great states and this is our absolute favorite place we have ever stayed, and the only rental we have returned to more than once.Our 3rd stay at Rainbow Serenity was just as magical as before. The beauty and peace of the river, the ridiculous abundance of wildlife, the comfort and uniqueness of this home, and the extraordinary kindness and hospitality of our host made this spot enjoyable beyond words.We missed seeing Jo very much, but Mike was an absolutely wonderful host, going above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed for an ideal stay.Having kayaks, tubes, and all manor of water gear makes a huge difference. We spent hours kayaking. But our very favorite part of staying here is time on the porch - morning coffee with the regulars - otters, herons, egrets, anhingas, ibis, wood ducks, and all sorts of small birds enjoying the cover and shade of the mighty cypress tree encircled by the deck. Watching the colors of the water light up in the sun and seeing kayakers float by at lunch. Steak on the grill as evening settles on the Rainbow. Bliss.Thank you Mike and family for sharing your beautiful home. We are so very grateful for our time at Rainbow Serenity.

Another Fantastic Time

This is the second year we've come and stayed with friends, and our third year on the Rainbow (first year in a different house). We've been all up and down the river on floats and boats and I can't find a better place to stay on the river. We will be back again next year for sure!

Great relaxing weekend

We had a great weekend stay! We all really enjoyed kayaking and tubing. You can’t beat the location. We were sad to discover the slide pictured and advertised could not be used…that was very disappointing for the kids.
