A spacious coastal retreat offering the best of both worlds with ocean views on one side and marina sunsets on the other. Featuring 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and accommodation for up to 10 guests.

This property was everything we needed it to be: spacious, ample parking, a quiet pool and steps from the beach. The elevator made loading and unloading our groceries and luggage a breeze. Would recommend staying here!

Rooms were clean and beds slept very well. Roomy enough for 9 women (one using a walker). Minor issue 1st night with misunderstanding on where to park my large vehicle that wouldn't fit in the parking bays.Only worrisome problem was the last 2 nights there was flooding on Canal Street onto Clam Shell. Wind was blowing the canal water onto the street. We worried about our vehicles getting flooded but it all worked out ok.

It’s the top 2 floors of a beautiful beach home. Very clean and great location. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which was wonderful. Top floor king room was awesome! Minute walk to the beach and could view the water from the balconies. Host was very quick to respond to any issue, which was only a quick elevator fix. Pool was a great option in between beach time. Washer and dryer was also a plus. Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing week staying here with our family! The home was the perfect size with plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. The location couldn’t have been better. It was just a short walk to the beach, making it easy to come and go throughout the day.One of our favorite features was the elevator. It made packing, unpacking, and hauling luggage, groceries, and beach gear so much easier. It was a huge convenience that we appreciated every day.The house was exactly what we were looking for, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book it again. We’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place for a family beach vacation!

Staff responsive, positive, "can do" attitude, and professional. Enjoyed stay. One maint issue, leaking hot air from dryer vent, taken care of promptly.

Excellent Trip

Location and amenities are exceptional. When elevator was not coming down upon arrival, property sent someone within 15 minutes to address the issue. The rental offers everything you could need and is a very short walk to the beach. Views are amazing and all bedrooms having their own bath is truly a benefit of this rental. The layout is spacious and very accommodating for all ages. All items are there for a great stay. Highly recommend.

Decent Condo with Tight Parking

Disappointed that the listing stated the condo had a hot tub but it did not. House was comfortable and roomy for our party of 7 people. Beach was very close by with an easy walk! Parking was a bit of a challenge underneath the condo, so we chose to park along the street.

A pearl in the clam shell

We had a fantastic time at the Clam Shell! The house was very clean and comfortable for our three generations to spend time together while each had their own space. There is a full kitchen and multiple covered parking spots and it was only a mile from dining out. The elevator made it very convenient for my 80-year old parents. There were fireworks over the board walk that we watched from the balcony at night and we could see the ocean and the sound during the day. The beach and the ocean were just a short walk away. We had a very relaxing time and will visit again!

Very accommodating beach house

This home is exceptionally clean and very well stocked!! It is very accommodating for large groups! All 4 bedrooms are large and all 4 bathrooms are very nice and roomy! Each bedroom has a tv which is a major plus for families/groups who have kids, teenagers and for those who want to watch something specific all day! The house is beautiful inside and out! Oh yea the elevator is a life saver!! Can’t wait until we are back in Carolina Beach cause we are getting this house again!! And management was easy to communicate with; David was awesome throughout the process!
