The host was so nice and communicative. The place is original, but clean and great location. Goood value and perfect if you’re just staying to be outside! Perfect for what we were looking for! So nice to have a washer/dryer too!

This is an excellent location on the North Shore. The residence was clean and quiet, and I appreciate quiet. For the 2 of us there was plenty of space. We really enjoyed the proximity to the Ritz resort. There was a lot to process when we arrived to get into the VRBO. Overall I would recommend.

The property was lovely and very clean and neat. There was attention to detail and the owner's mother greeted us upon our arrival. Everything was labeled and detailed as to what switches matched up with devices and appliances. I would recommend that they might think about purchasing a new toilet handle as it was difficult to utilize the one that was there. Thank you for a lovely stay.

North Shore Condo Was A Great Location

Access to this condo was very easy. The condo was fully furnished and clean. The location was great. We were able to walk to the Turtle Bay resort which is beautiful. You should recommend the Lei Lei restaurant in your description also within walking distance. Other than the unit being a little outdated it was a perfect place to stay.

Loved this place

My fiancé and I stayed here for a week. It was nice and clean and quiet. We didn’t mind it being “dated” at all. There were plenty of amenities and fun things around to do! It was safe and walkable everywhere.

Turtle bay stay

We read reviews before staying and aren't mad about anything! It's no where near the ocean and definitely a walk to the beach, or a view for that matter. The golf course is the abandoned one. Again, no big deal. Just not how described.

Good base for north shore explorations

The condo is located within a gated community adjacent to Turtle Bay resort/hotel. Simple but clean and well-stocked. Approximate 10 minute walk to the beach/cove adjacent to the hotel. The hotel has a coffee shop and restaurants and Lei Leis bar and grill is located on the gold course/5 minute walk away but there's not much else within walking distance. Good base for exploring the north shore with easy and frequent bus access from other parts of the island.

comfortable and quiet

My husband and I had stayed in a condo next to what used to be called Turtle Bay Resort and is now called the Ritz Carlton, quite a few years ago. We talked to Deb, the property manager, to get the address to our condo and she told us the Condo's name had been changed to Kawela but the condos{ were still there with the same access to the beaches and the beautiful bay next to the Resort. Our condo was about a 10-15 minute walk on a nice walk way to get to all the beach accesses. The condo was very nice, not fancy but had everything we needed. A good bed, fully stocked kitchen, new couch and nice furniture and a very nice pool.. It was quiet and Deb helped up with the TV and all our questions. We would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable, safe, 3-5 min walk to the beach

This ground-level property was clean and well-maintained.The simple check-in process was so helpful. The host was wonderful and helpful. This property is in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Depending on how fast you walk you can get to the beach in 3-5 minutes. There are several beach areas within 15 minutes driving and 2 or 3 that you could walk to in 3-15 minutes. The kitchen was tidy, stocked with all of the essentials. I loved having laundry available in the apt. The pool was cute and very close, though i did not use it. The community is gated, adding to safety and the host was waiting for me when I arrived making it all very simple. I loved having a few beach items available for use! Those came in very handy! I would recommend and would stay again. This would be a good place to bring children as well, noting that there is 1 bedroom and a sofa bed. The sliding glass door opens to a backyard area next to the gorgeous golf course.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We spent long weekends and holidays at Turtle Bay Resort (then known as Kuilima)in the early 70's. This was our 'Outer Island' without the expense and hassle of flying to the neighbor islands. When it became possible to purchase a Condo, we jumped at the chance. We had tennis and golf plus the unspoiled Hawaii that we dream of. Remarkably, it hasn't changed much!
