Our lake cottage is the perfect getaway for families with pets or couples looking for a romantic weekend.

Only a five minute walk to Lake Tahoe and to restaurants, shops, art galleries and the beach, including unforgettable sunsets.

Sitting together next to the fire, enjoying the private hot tub under the stars, or morning coffee on the deck, couples are ensured a romantic experience.

The property also features a fully fenced yard, allowing children or pets to run around safely.

The cottage has a cozy living room with a gas fireplace, comfortable sofa, writing desk and a flat-screen TV.

The fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own meals, including a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.

The bedrooms are both furnished with comfortable queen-size beds. The master bedroom has direct access to the spacious back deck, which features a six-person hot tub and a breathtaking wooded view, perfect for romantic evenings under the stars.

Quiet getaway

The cabin is exceptionally done, the furnishings and decor fit the area, it has a warm, comfortable feel to it. The backyard is big, plenty of room for kids, dogs and family activities. Location was great, a quick walk to the beach and local shops. Owners were great to work with, getting in and out of there was easy. Overall our visit was outstanding.

Quiet Honeymoon Getaway

We stayed in mid-October and hit the perfect weather. Crisp and cozy in the morning, which made the gas fireplace and the hot tub delightful, then it would warm up daily enough for beach sunbathing and trail hikes in shorts. The home is cozy, happy and has a friendly feel. We enjoyed the well appointed kitchen and laundry while there too, so that every meal wasn't eaten out. This home is very centrally and is within easy walking distance from King's beach, grocery stores and downtown. The home is in a working neighborhood and not in a fancy subdivision with upscale homes and we loved it and had no problems there. We had quick access to trails, hikes, beaches and nearby Truckee. We'd stay here again. The owners made certain we were taken care of.

Cozy and Perfect Location!

The house was very cozy and close to the beach, skiing, shops, and restaurants. It was easy to check in and out, everything was clean and comfortable, and would highly recommend!

Excellent gateway spot in Tahoe

Brockway Vista is an excellent rental house. Pictures don't give enough credits to the property. It's in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk from the lake. Perfectly located for those of wants to ski (it took me 22 minutes to drive to Mt Rose, and others resorts are closer). The house was large enough for me, my wife and our dog. We could have also easily accommodated kids, or another couple (there is a end bedroom with a bunk bed and a murphy bed. The bed was really comfortable. We love to cook and enjoy preparing meals. The island in the kitchen, allow you to cook and enjoy a drink with your partner, spouse or guest. The gated garden was a plus for us with our dog. We will definitively keep the address for another trip.
