The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this perfect 1 BR with private Den beach condo! It has everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony overlooking the water, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

We loved our week there! My only complaint was the WiFi because my husband and I had to work a couple of days and we couldn’t work together and even if we went separately it still wasn’t good. Otherwise a great place to rent😊

The condo was nice…could use a little updating. I didn’t realize there was only one shower for 5 of us. But overall, it was a good experience.

The view was fabulous both ocean and bay. The place is small, had only one couch so if there’s more than 2 people they’d have to sit on bar stools. One drawer has been broken, per other reviews, toilet paper holder in bathroom was broken. The selection of cooking pans is very limited, no baking sheets. Although it doesn’t matter because you can’t open the oven door. Barely any silverware. I won’t be back.

A functional place with a view

The view from the master bedroom was my absolute favorite thing about this room. I liked that it came with all the amenities you could ever need on vacation (washer, dryer, dishwasher) and it had a pretty good selection of dishes for the nights we ate in the room. The room itself was nice and clean and the decor was tasteful. I liked that the owner provided small amounts of things (Laundry pods, dish soap, trash bags etc) that you may have forgotten to pack.

Management Great Property Terrible

The building itself offers a lot of amenities but the unit was awful. Property management was great including Suzy, Olga and Drew but I had to call Many times which impacted our stay. The unit smelled like cats and had not been updated in years — from peeling wallpaper to a lack of a proper shower curtain to a flood in the pipes. All in all we will Rent from this management company again but never this owner. Simply put for this amount of money rent a different unit. Unit 2012 needs a full updating.

Beautiful View, Nice Unit

Unit had an excellent view of ocean and right outside door is a beautiful bay view where you can see the fireworks from Northside. Beds were comfortable - especially sofa bed. Unit was clean and linens provided were enough for my family. We were provided toiletries and laundry detergent and dishwasher tabs which lasted us the week. The ONLY complaint I have is the elevator of the building, which is not Vacasa’s control. Bring your personality, because just when you think no one will squeeze in to an already-full elevator, five more people do. The elevators were always filled to the brim. Nice indoor pool area and outdoor area, though outdoors did close during our last days due to warning of inclement weather even though neighboring hotels were still enjoying their outdoor pool and amenities. We did require maintenance for a running/leaky toilet but maintenance responded immediately and fixed it. Nice customer service on part of Vacasa. The building was a bit too large for what I’m used to (hence the full elevators) which is the only reason I would hesitate to book the building again during a busy week, BUT it was a quiet building and we enjoyed our stay. My experience with Vacasa was outstanding.
