Quiet getaway

Thanksgiving for small family

Everything was good…some trouble with gas stove which is very small. This beautiful place would be perfect for warm weather!

Cozy & Secluded

We stayed over Christmas, so we didn’t get a chance to fully enjoy the outdoor setting (which would have been awesome in the summer) but the cabin was cozy and secluded.You know when the directions to get there include the words “ANOTHER cattle guard,” it’s gonna be a perfect retreat from the chaos at the end of a long day visiting family.

Beautiful location!

Small place - outdoor area can't be beat! Description says it sleeps 6, but there are only beds for 5. Luckily we brought an air mattress. Will come back if we're in the area again.

Just what my wife and I needed. springs and house are amazing. We did not see or hear anyone else entire stay. The hosts were wonderful during check in. I am looking forward to coming back in July. We are bringing our 17 year and my lab.

So peaceful on the deck listening to the water falls.

We loved the decks and swimming area. Water is cold but feels good when its hot. They provide a lot of extras like shampoo, water bottles and a few snacks if you havent had time to get anything. We asked for an early check in as we had a wedding rehearsal to go to and she accommodated us. The only thing that might be improved is to grade the road going back to the cabin, my grandaughter's car scraped a little when she came by to see us. I'm sure they will keep the road up. My suv had no problem. Great place, i recommend it.

Listing not quite accurate

The property was gorgeous, and the setting was very relaxing. The best part of this property was the outside areas. Unfortunately, inside the cabin was lacking. The listing stated 3 bedrooms; however, it is 1 bedroom and a divided loft. The property owners did tell us that during the check-in process. The listing stated up to 6 people could stay, however, there was only sleeping 5 and inside seating for 4. The stove is very tiny. We could barely fit a 13"x9" baking dish in it. Dining is outside on the deck only. There was not a place to prep a meal. This would be a great place to stay for a couple, but I wouldn't recommend it for more than that.

Hidden getaway gem

Rented for an adult, family friendly birthday party. It was the perfect hidden getaway. We are from the area, and didn’t know about this place previous, the outside had an immaculate sitting area. The children were entertained the entire day without electronics!! It was a great experience!

Peaceful

Peaceful, relaxing time together - spring water is cold although the water falls sound amazing. The upper deck was so great for dinner together.

Best Sisters weekend EVER!!

Had an amazing time with my sisters at this property! Close enough to basic city life that if you had forgotten something it was just a hop down the road to get it! Far enough out in the woods that we felt completely alone! Perfect place to get away and reconnect with whomever you may to! Thanks so much Donald & Sheila!

Quiet and Restful Cabin

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was so quiet, which is just what we were looking for. Our two grandchildren loved the swimming and exploring. Sadly, we weren't visited by any deer, but two cows visited us, which our 15 year old granddaughter found fascinating. Donald and Sheila welcomed up to the cabin and then we were on our own. They were accessible if needed but tried to leave us on our own. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

A little piece of Heaven!!

Owners were great and place was so beautiful and peaceful. The pool area was completely amazing, we never wanted to leave it. It had a great sandy play area for the kids. I would recommend this beautiful place to everyone. Nothing like any place I have stayed at before!!

Second trip to this property, Took our teenager and my 4yr old lab this trip. wonderful and relaxing. This place is a little piece of heaven. The owners had made several improvements since May and the new grill was nice. I think I was the first one to use. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a nice stay in a quiet location. We plan on returning next year if the owners can handle the lab that is afraid of the water.

Adorable place

This cabin in the woods was perfect for our getaway. It was in a beautiful and secluded location. We sat out and listened to the stream and watched the deer every day!
