Serenity is the perfect cozy cabin with its wood-burning fireplace in the living room from where you can enjoy and relax looking out the breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Serenity will pamper you with very comfortable furnishings throughout, outdoor fire pit, private hot tub with therapeutic massage jets, foosball table, 3 smart Roku TVs, and so much abundant natural beauty and peace all around you. Serenity is perfectly located only 6 miles away (13 minute drive) from downtown Blue Ridge and very close to so many local attractions, hiking trail, waterfalls, restaurants, shopping, and so much more. Please note we highly recommend you drive a 4-wheel drive or All-wheel drive when you come to Serenity to make it easier to drive up the mountains roads.

We had an amazing time. The cabin was beautiful and peaceful. The hot tub was perfect for beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We enjoyed a fire every day. The cabin was very clean with plenty of blankets and comfortable furniture. The views were gorgeous, and the drive up to the cabin was not bad. The hosts were very responsive and you can tell they take pride in being excellent hosts. We will definitely book again at Serenity!!

Great stay

The property and scenery were beautiful. The drive up is a bit rough but it is a cabin on a mountain so it's to be expected. Overall it was a great stay and the cabin was great.

Nice cabin with a beautiful view. Communication with the owners was very easy and they were very responsive. You definitely need an all wheel drive if you go there during winter or rainy season.

Unfortunately, our stay at Serenity Cabin was far from 5 stars. Immediately upon arrival, my husband and I discovered the primary toilet was broken. The host sent out a plumber, but he didn't come until the next day. Plumber came late and stated it could not be repaired until AFTER our stay, so my husband had to manually turn the water on and off after EVERY flush all weekend.The cabin itself was clean inside, but the deck furniture was extremely dirty and appeared not to have been cleaned in months which took away from the "serenity" experience we booked for. Guests should also know the second bathroom is two flights downstairs which was very inconvenient as we are older with bad knees. The road to the cabin is VERY steep gravel with ruts. Definitely suggest 4WD going up and down. To make matters worse, the owner, Adrian, promised a discount for the inconvenience but has since stopped responding to our messages after multiple outreach attempts. Disappointing experience overall.
I had to clean the table and chairs before we could even sit.

These guests are terrible. Do not rent to them. With this incident of the toilet, they blew it out of proportion and demanded a discount from the owners. They paid a very low nightly rate and still wanted a discount on top of that. We offered them solutions to manage the situation and sent out a plumber, who could not repair the toilet until Monday because the part needed was not available. The guests were angry and threatened us in texts to our business phone number with giving us a 1 start review simply because this situation which was out of our control and gave them the option to use the other toilet to not bother with this issue. They would not send those messages in the VRBO messages because they knew how aweful they were handling this attempt to manipulate. Their response was to send multiple texts threatening the owners they would leave a bad review if they did not get a discount. For a small inconvenience they wanted to turn into a money back situation. Do not rent to them. If they had asked nicely and not threatened us we would have gladly offered them a small discount. But we will not feed these types of manipulative people who use threats to get money from owners.

WE HAD A BLAST !!!Our stay at Serenity was unforgettable wonderful, every day was well spent. Very peaceful and relaxing, while taking in the breath taking view. The cabin was clean and equipped with everything needed. I didn’t need to contact the host during our stay, but it was very easy to reach them prior to check-in. I highly recommend Serenity for your next gateway!!!

Fantastic

Other than the driveway and not having 4WD, this house was perfect. Within 20 min of downtown but secluded. Stunning views and the hosts were very responsive. The one lane gravel roads are a little unnerving but once there, everything was perfect. Hot tub was perfect, foosball and games for family nights and the porches are perfect for reading or napping!

This property was just as described. Had all the amenities we needed. Nice having towels for the hot tub and shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathrooms. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone!

Comfy cabin

Clean and well stocked. Everything worked except batteries in one of the 3 controllers,however, all three controllers work on all the tv’s so all was good. Overall a nice getaway.

Wondeful weekend getaway

Peoperty was as advertized. Very clean well maintained cabin. With all amenities you need. We enjoyed abquite weekend. Minutes from great dining in a relaxed setting. Property owners were awesome and quickly answered questions. Highly recommend.

Cozy spot for a getaway

Great property with gorgeous views. Loved that the two bedrooms were separated by a level and had their own bathroom. Host was very communicative and helpful. Make sure to bring matches or a lighter and newspaper/wood if you want to have a fire either indoors or outdoors!

Great Stay!!

We enjoy this cabin and what it offered. Loved the hot tub. The owner was very responsive. Good thing he had a bear proof garbage can!! It is very cozy cabin and well stocked. The road is full of divets and pot holes and driveway is difficult getting in and out. We had AWD, thank god for dry weather. Good location to everything.

Cozy Getaway

This cabin was a great getaway for my family. The kids loved it. The cabin was very clean and exactly as advertised. The hosts were very accommodating. One recommendation for anyone staying here is to make sure you have a vehicle that is either AWD or 4x4. The path can get difficult to drive if the weather turns bad. Over all a fantastic stay.

Beautiful Views

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. The views from the porch are incredible. Relaxing in the hot tub after hiking was a nice way to end the day. We enjoyed the separation between the bedrooms and our nightly foosball games got pretty intense. The cabin was well stocked, peaceful, clean and comfortable. There are a few cabins in the vicinity but we didn't notice any neighbors at all. We would definitely stay here again. The road to the cabin was rough (since you're on the top of a mountain), but having AWD helped and you just need to take it slow in low gear.

Perfect for what we needed!

Last minute booking for our son's baseball tournament. Property as advertised. Very clean and well stocked (nice touch with creamers in the fridge and extra spices!) The drive is a bit tricky but doable. Had to sign in to your own account to watch tv - that was kind of a pain especially if you can't remeber your password! Overall a great stay!

We had a great time at the property. Although, it seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while.. dead bugs were in the floor in the bedroom and living room. The outside furniture was covered in pollen. Over all the stay was great but I wish the housekeeping would have been better for the price that we paid.

At Serenity you will be pampered, beautiful and comfortable 4-piece wicker lounging sofa and chairs on the top deck, patio dining room set for 4 persons, and an awesome log lounging outdoor sofa with plush pillows.

Note: The hot tub is completely drained and properly disinfected each and every time we have a new guest as we follow current COVID-19 cleaning standards. No exceptions. We highly recommend that you never increase the temperature above 103 degrees Fahrenheit to avoid heat related health problems. Please do follow additional rules posted right outside the hot tub area.
