Let the mountain top views sweep you away in this upscale condo, as this is one of the few places where you can see Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennesee, and Virginia all at once! The cathedral ceilings and lofted sleeping area looking out on an expansive view of the mountains add to the grand feel of this condo. After a long day at the slopes or a day on the greens, enjoy a nice meal at the open concept dining area inside or take it to the covered outdoor dining table and take in the wonderful pops of pink, red, orange, and yellow of the sunset on the treetops below. With a large flat screen tv and gas fireplace, this living room is sure to make you feel relaxed. Not to mention, this getaway is ideal for those with limited mobility, as every area of the home is accessible except the upper loft that is accessed via stairs. With so many year-round memories just waiting to be made, don't hesitate! This gem is one of a kind.

Everything about our stay was great! We went for rest and relaxation and it was just that. Even got to see some snow which was wonderful. We have stayed at The Reserve Condo's before and the layout always works perfectly with our family. Definitely will look to be back in the near future.

Beautiful condo with plenty of space for a large group. Be aware that the condo is at the very top of the mountain about a five minute walk uphill to the top of the ski mountain. I recommend having snow tires or chains in the winter months in case it snows. We actually got snowed in and had to stay an extra day. Another helpful tip is that you can walk down the hill about 15 minutes and pick up the free shuttle that drives to the base of the mountain. They pick up about every 30 minutes. We would definitely return to enjoy the beautiful Mountain views from the large porch.

Wonderful space, we never wanted to leave!

Wonderful Weekend

Such a beautiful and clean place. We hope to stay there again in the future. If you plan on walking to the slopes, it's not an easy walk but the entire place is beautiful. We had to leave early due to the snow storm but otherwise, wonderful weekend.

The Condo in person matched the pictures. It was clean and comfortable would recommend to anyone wanting a stay on the mountain. The mountain views were spectacular and our time on the deck was perfect to enjoy the sunsets with views of the valley and distant mountains.

Fantastic Mountain Top Condo

Our stay was wonderful! As soon as you walk in the door, you are greeted with a breathtaking view of the mountain. We were lucky enough to be visiting during peak leaf season, and the colors were spectacular! The condo is perfect for two families or larger families looking for a little extra space. Offering a king bed in the primary, Queen in the guest, Queen and twin bunks in the loft fit our need for 8 to sleep comfortably. The kitchen was stocked with all of the utensils/bakeware/appliances you could possibly need. The decor was very tasteful and updated. We enjoyed relaxing on the massive porch overlooking the mountain and warming up by the fireplace inside. We can’t wait to return!

Ski vacation

The home was beautiful and the view was amazing. Upon arrival the floor were dirty enough that our seven year old daughter commented on it. We ended up having to clean them. The one bathroom had urine on the toilet. We also had trouble with the hot water. It came warm for one person and then was cold so we had to space out our showers. We would highly recommend finding a different cleaner. This place and location are beautiful and if these issues were taken care of we'd highly recommend staying here.it.showers

Great Home Bad Management

The home was pleasant and location was spot on for mountain visits. Was not cleaned properly and the Vacasa support team was anything but helpful as they message me back and forth several times and never really had any resolution. We ended up cleaning the place ourselves to make it usable for our needs and no refund of cleaning fee or consolation was ever communicated or received. In all a good stay but I would recommend the units owner to seek better rental management

Special Mountaintop Condo

Our entire experience was excellent from beginning to end. We previously owned property in the area for 15 years and sold 2 years ago. We wanted to come back for a visit and found this unit. It was everything that we had hoped for and more. While the pictures were prenominal, the actual was even better. Everything you would ever need was found in the unit. The unit was extremely well decorated and felt like home while we were there. The views and outside area were spectacular. The booking, check-in and check-out process with Vacasa was extremely efficient, and we did not experience any issues at all. Vacasa was in touch with us throughout the entire process and made our stay a pleasure. We hope to return for a few days next year and hope to find this unit available. Thanks to the owners and Vacasa for making this trip special for me, my wife and our friends. The Overlook at the Reserve is a special property.

Beautiful condo, wonderful view

My BFF and I needed a get-away, and this place was perfect for us to relax and unwind. The condo was spotless, and so very nicely furnished. Seating was comfortable as was the bedding. Of particular interest to me, who has some balance issues, there were no stairs into the condo, other than the one from the walkway into the condo. There is a loft with stairs, but the two bedrooms downstairs made accessing the loft unnecessary for us. When we left home, the temperature was 77° and we woke up in the morning to snow on the deck and much colder temps. The fireplace, when viewed this past summer, looked nice; however, it became a favorite spot for my friend who lied to venture out onto the deck to check the thermometer. The clouds sought to send the first two days but we were warm and snuggly inside. Once the clouds lifted, the incredible views mesmerized us. We cooked simple meals and the kitchen at all we needed to do so. While we were not able to dine on the deck as we had hoped, having meals at the dining room table, still permitted us beautiful views through the expansive living room windows/doors. The peace and quiet was restorative. We so enjoyed our stay that we are discussing another trip to Sugar Mountain. I would like to stay here again. The management company provided excellent communication that we really appreciated, especially the kind offer of late check out. It was really nice not to have to get up in the morning and rush to leave.

Fantastic view and condo!!

We absolutely loved our time here! Although it was foggy the first two days, it added to the experience. Being able to step out on that deck with some coffee really soothes the soul. We found the place beautifully furnished and with the open layout of the condo it almost felt like we were in the clouds. There are a lot of fun little details that really make the place feel comfortable. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay at Sugar Mountain with an incredible view. You can tell the hosts really love their place!

Unit was very clean and well equipped. TV was amazing and now my 55” seems way too small. Lol. Mattress took a little getting use to but overall we had an awesome week and would definitely book again. One tiny suggestion. Need a can opener. Thank you!
