Private Coastal Two Bedroom Cottage on the Water

A coastal cottage on the water surrounded by vineyards and farm stands on the North Fork. Unwind in the backyard with a private view of the Goldsmith's Inlet where you can watch the sunrise, bird watch, and admire our local swans. A quick 5-minute walk to the Long Island Sound where you can sunbathe, swim, kayak, and watch the beautiful sunset. Conveniently located near Greenport, Orient, and Southold. A 20 minute drive from the Orient Point Ferry Terminal.

*IMPORTANT*

Seasonal items like the charcoal grill are only available from May 1st to October 31st.

Amazing get away

This is our second time staying at this property and we love everything about. The host goes out of her way to make your stay feel as comfortable and cozy as your own home. The beach is walkable and beautiful- we caught sunsets and sunrises. Lots of family memories

We had a wonderful time at this well appointed rental in beautiful Peconic. The house is just as described by the Host. Everything you could think of was provided. It has a great sunrise off the rear patio. It’s in walking distance of the water. It’s close to Love lane, wineries, and very nice restaurants. The host is very accommodating and responsive. We recommend this listing very highly!!! You won’t be disappointed.

Magical Little Cottage

This house is truly amazing. Everything is exactly as the description says, or even better. It is located off the beaten path, but close enough to easily get to all of the fun spots! Our group has stayed at the house twice and can’t wait for our next visit. Mae is very responsive and has everything set up to maximize an effortless stay.

This is just the place we have been searching for. It is situated by the water, it has a yard, and the birds are singing! Decorated beautifully. The Host was friendly and responsive. We had a wonderful experience.

Beach House is lovely.

The Beach House was an ideal fit for our family group. It was clean and well equipped. The beach is a five minute walk. The North Fork area is delightful this time of year. Mae has provided an excellent list of restaurants and places of interest. We also had the benefit of gorgeous fall weather. All and all, an excellent holiday.

Relaxing Stay

We enjoyed staying at the Beach House in Peconic. The house was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The backyard was just beautiful. Very peaceful and quiet location, near the beach and convenient to wineries. Highly recommend this property.

Wonderful 3 week experience

We very much enjoyed staying in the house on Goldsmith's Inlet. The house is great. The location is superb. Mae was always available to answer questions and her "user manual" for the house was the best I have seen.

Wonderful

Beautiful beach cottage very private on a lovely inlet. The Beach is less than a five minute walk down the road perfect spot. The area could not be better for beaches, wineries, and restaurants. Mae is a pleasure to deal with. She went above and beyond for us. This was our second time staying at this property and I will be staying there a third time hopefully before the summers out.

Lovely time on Goldsmith's Inlet

This was our fourth time staying at Mae's sweet house - wonderful, as usual! The house is so welcoming and comfortable, thoughtfully decorated and nicely equipped. We really enjoyed the outdoors, it was unexpectedly perfect weather for grilling, relaxing and bird-watching. Amazingly peaceful. Next visit we hope to do some fishing on the Sound, and some kayaking on the pond. It's a gorgeous spot, and Mae is a kind and responsive host. Thanks again, Mae!

Nice house in a great spot

We enjoyed our stay and felt the owner made it easy to check in and out with clear instructions for the lockbox and other items in the house. Pretty and comfortable house in a superlative location! I would caution that the only shower is located within a very high-walled tub, with no handrail, so if you are elderly or disabled, you may have trouble accessing the shower.

Wedding Anniversary Trip

I recently stayed in a charming Air B&B on Long Island, NY and had a wonderful experience. The property was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was friendly and accommodating, providing clear instructions for check-in and ensuring that I had everything I needed throughout my visit. The location was peaceful and quite. We woke up to the sounds of Loons in the morning. April was a great time of year to visit as it's before the summer tourist crowd. I would highly recommend this Air B&B for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway on Long Island.

House was great! Everything you need is available. Cute house and clean. Great location to restaurants, shopping and of course the vineyards. Beautiful view looking out and close walk to the beach. Loved our time and would stay again.

My name is Mae and my mother, Patti bought this charming cottage in the early 90's. We love the North Fork and everything it has to offer. Ever since she got sick, I decided to renovate the cottage in honor of her since those were our plans ever since I was younger. We hope you enjoy our dream home!
