Larkspur Lodge with Mesmerizing Lakefront views

Lake front views! 3 bedroom 2 and a half bath 1,675 sq ft home directly on the lake. Kitchen, dining room, living room, large master bedroom with 1 king size bed and 1 queen size bed, 1 full bath and 1 half bath downstairs and 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath upstairs. Views of the lake from almost every room in the home. Large deck off the living room and master bedroom as well as off one of the bedrooms upstairs. Plenty of space in the yard or the ground level for gatherings!
Please note the spiral staircase leading to the upstairs bedrooms is very narrow.

Great time. Plenty of parking. The only issue I had was being told in the checkout instructions that all garbage needed to be bagged. What a mess but overall great trip.

Getaway and Make Memories

Had a great time just relaxing and sitting by the fire pit; my 80 year old mother and I enjoyed the house. Beautiful view of the water!

Wonderful view

Relaxing with a nice lakefront view. The home is a bit outdated and needs a few upgrades. The grill grates need replacing, the previous renter took the blender and another was not provided, and the jetted tub did not work. The home was very clean and stocked.

Reconsider if stairs are a problem for you

Enjoyed our stay. Sherri was always attentive and quick to respond. Only suggestions would be a cleaner kitchen and the spiral staircase is treacherous. I don't think the staircase was pointed out in description, only visible in a photo. I would have reconsidered. Even an outside staircase would have made luggage and less agile guests easier to navigate.

Average Stay

The property manager was responsive and checked in with us. The biggest drawback was the only way to access 2 upstairs bedrooms was a tight spiral staircase. This was not in the description but property manager added it to listing when I mentioned it. Master bath shower is in jacuzzi tub making a high step to get in. The property is on the water but no boat dock, if you want to fish it’ll be from the bulkhead. There’s a gas station a few miles away with the basics, but it’s 15-20 minutes to restaurants. Property was clean for its age.

We had a great time. The house was very nice. The only issue for me was the staircase going upstairs was a little narrow and we did have some friends with age and knee issues so they couldn’t go up there. We managed our sleeping arrangements and had a wonderful time.

Had a wonderful experience!

Spend some time with my family here and made some wonderful memories. Beautiful, safe, comfortable, clean home and a stocked kitchen. We will definitely be back!

Not very clean

Not very clean. Grease residue on stove. Grease splatter on side of fridge. Dark smudges on walls. Dead bugs on window sills. Dusty cob webby corners. Broken limbs and dried leaves all over decks. No kitchen sponges or cloths to clean up after ourselves. Only paper towels. Old food left in the freezer. The beds and sheets were clean and smelled fresh and the bathrooms were clean. Access to the water was a metal ladder but the steps were covered in algae and EXTREMELY hazardous considering the concrete sea wall and rocks below the water line. My boyfriend eventually ended up using a wire brush to scrub the algae off so we could access the water safely. The home in general is in need of some minor repair and maintenance and could use some updating.

Awesome views

Our stay was good, we only stayed the weekend and wish we could have stayed longer. The house is right on the water and has plenty of room for everyone.
