The Levi Gin - Luxury Vintage Retreat

This stunning property is truly one of a kind. One of the five originally cotton gins in Levi has been converted to a lovely home. The gin sits on a sprawling 3.77 acres with a tree lined creek on one side. The home is a perfect mix of old and new. From the originally tin to new stone, it truly is a magnificent eye-popping house.

The home is split into two sections. The mother-in-law suite and the main home. The old scale can still be seen in between the two units. The mother-in-law suite is a 1 bed, 1 bath unit with full kitchen and living room. It perfectly matches the main house. The main house is spectacular! The cement floors and granite countertop perfectly match for a stunning downstairs area. The extra-large bar allows for plenty of setting or places to place large amounts of food for family gatherings. The upstairs contains a private reading/game area and three bedrooms. The master bedroom is upstairs and contains a small office, large closet, dual vanities and large shower. The outside covered deck is a great place for morning coffee or evening drinks while viewing this wonderful property.

The Levi Gin is a short term rental property. The home and second living quarters and yard are for guest use. The event tent and the Chapel are restricted areas and for events only. Any guest using these areas without written permission from D&L Vacation Rentals or one of its staff will be charged an extra fee to be determined by D&L Vacation Rentals.

We had a great stay. The space worked really well for our family, with plenty of room to spread out inside and a nice outdoor area to run around and relax. It made for an easy, comfortable trip overall and we’d definitely stay here again.

The house and property were amazing! Pics were accurate; kitchen very well equipped! Had all small appliances available. Very nice kitchen to cook for large family!Sarah was extremely attentive and responsive to all our needs and questions. Couldn’t have asked for a better host!Best VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. We will definitely be back in the future!!They also have a wedding venue! If I ever needed one I would use them in a heartbeat! The setting is gorgeous! Very easy and convenient to find by address. Although the weather was hot, the setting was perfect and the location and accommodations were amazing!!

This property was AMAZING!! Beautiful inside and out. Great property if you have littles; plenty of outside space for them to run and play! Beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious. One thing we didn’t realize when booking the property was all bedrooms were upstairs, but it wasn’t a huge problem. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you will ever need to cook! The guest house was just as nice as the main house and offered a wonderful room for the small children to have a quiet place to sleep while the adults were loud!! Cannot say enough great things about communication with the property owners. Would recommend this property hands down to anyone looking for a unique stay close to Waco!!

Best little getaway!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at The Levi Gin! The property was beautiful and the home had everything we needed + more. It was so easy to communicate with the host as well. I’m so glad we found this spot to share a few days with friends!! Thank you for having us!

The house was clean and large enough to accommodate a big family. Host was easy to contact and quick with communication. We did have a septic alarm go off multiple times during our visit. The host was helpful in telling us how to turn it off. Also know that the house is a good twenty minutes south of the town and some of the roads to get there are gravel/ dirt roads. Over all the house was very nice.

Very good stay. Was disappointed about the venue section being 990 for 3 hours when we’re the only ones staying at the house. We had access to the venue garage last time we stayed 2 years ago. Other than that no complaints.

Fun and Unique

I love being just outside the city so this was a perfect location. It was still very convenient to everything. The house was clean with lovely touches. It felt like home. A horrible storm came through which took the power out for a little bit, but I even just loved being there in the storm. I can honestly see myself living in the area in the future.

My dad used to own and run a cotton gin, he loved to see how the gin was repurposed and restored! The property is immaculate, everything was very clean. My family enjoyed our weekend here and will book again in the future! Thank you!

Nice place

The Levi Gin is a very unique and enjoyable property. We enjoyed our stay here. Couple small things, beds are small and not super comfortable. Internet as stated is very unreliable and doesn't work well all the time. Other than that we were very happy with this property

Awesome Property

This property was absolutely awesome. The house was beautifully decorated and well mantained. There was an area upstairs that included games and books for all ages and some children's toys. The garage was a big hit. It included a basketball goal, foosball, air hockey and other outdoor activities. The kitchen was well stocked with small appliances including 2 Keurigs, some spices and coffee supplies. It also included a very nice guest house which we did not need but was available to us. We will would book this property again.

Family Weekend

We had family in from Dallas and Corpus. It accommodated everyone well and those that lived close by were able to come and hang out. Enjoyed our stay.

Better than advertised!

Great setup for multi family trips. Lots of games and indoor basketball court for the kids (and adults!). A couple things happened outside of managers control- county construction - but manager was actively working to resolve it and worked with us. We would definitely rent again. It is a great location, about 15 minutes to downtown Waco, but you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Very peaceful and relaxing.
