Let's start with location. Kamaole Beach Royale #508 is conveniently located near the Kamaole Beaches and nearby restaurants, coffee shops, shopping and recreation. The unit itself is a beautifully appointed one bedroom, one bath condo which is stocked with thoughtful touches to ensure your stay will be enjoyable. If you like to prepare your own meals, there is a fully equipped kitchen, and a washer and dryer is also available in the unit. There are split system AC units in both the living room and bedroom, and there are also ceiling fans to help keep you cool. Kamaole Beach Royale #508 has you covered for your beach days with beach chairs, beach towels, and cooler. After a busy day of adventures, relax on your private lanai. When you are ready to retire for the evening, a Queen bed awaits in the bedroom as well as a television if you want to watch some TV before you drift off to sleep. The living room also provides a television and there is a telephone in the unit for local calls. This unit is in the heart of South Kihei and perfect for those seeking the convenience of being right in the center of the action!
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.
We work to maintain a very accurate website. At times furniture, decor or flooring may be upgraded and pictures are not updated yet. This would not change the seating, sleeping, function or views of the condo. Amenities are accurately and clearly listed for your convenience.
Kamaole Beach Royale is centrally located across the street from Kamaole Beach Park #1; a white sandy beach in South Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. It has lush tropical landscaping, a swimming pool, covered, open-parking, and a rooftop pavilion to barbecue and watch breathtaking sunsets. The central location is within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and beaches, and it is a short drive away from the famous golf courses of Wailea, Maui.

Nice place

Nice place for a single person or a couple, centrally loacted to pleanty of places to eat and drink with the beach right across the street, only down side is parking lot is a little tight, any thing over the size of a tacoma id look to park somewhere else.

Set up and location is great, view is spectacular. I have never had issues with responses when I needed to contact them with questions. Some people complain about bugs, yes, I saw a few - but I have never stayed somewhere in Hawaii that didn't have a few. No biggie to me.

Beautiful view, great location

Just the absolute best view you could ask for. Wonderful location right across the street from a beach with great snorkeling where I saw an octopus and a sea turtle among other things. Literally the only drawback of the apartment is that the bedroom is so far back from the wall AC unit that it is very difficult to cool down the bedroom. But I honestly didn't have a problem with it because of how awesome the rest of the experience was. The keyless check-in with the keypad was flawless. I saw one roach in the bathroom, but that's probably something you're going to run into anywhere on Maui. The kitchen was clean and so was everything else. I highly recommend staying here.

Reviewer Comments: The location is perfect, steps away from the beach, good eats directly across the street we love Kamaole Beach Royale. #508 has a great view but we were a little disappointed with the condo. It has an old odor probably due to the rugs and furniture. It looked clean but it didn’t feel clean. There is a cockroach problem, traps are visible and saw a few roaming in the kitchen. The complimentary beach chairs and such are worn out but they did the job. Everything thing worked as should. We have stayed in #308 twice and that condo was in better shape. We picked #508 for the view and it was priced lower than #308. We will try other condos at KBR you just cant beat it.

It is so close to so many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, bakery, etc. you don’t need to get in your car. We especially appreciated the air conditioning in the bedroom, since it was 85 degrees every day. We spent the mornings on our lanai looking at the ocean. Then a quick walk across the street to Beach #1. Every space was clean, lots of towels and supplies for our week. We will definitely be back to Kamaole Beach Royale.

We talked to other people in the building and they did not have them. When we arrived there were crumbs on the counter from the toaster and potato chips on the carpet of the lanai. This may have attracted all the bugs. The rug in the living area was also very dirty. This place could be amazing with a few small items attended to. The view is beautiful.

I would stay there again and recommend it to others especially the 5th or 6th floors as the lower floors don't have the view of the water.the only thing on the cleaning is that the rugs were in need of washing.The grounds and parking are quite limited. i wanted to use the barbecue but it was always being used by others.I'd advise anyone staying to get a rental vehicle. There is an ABC store just to the north and many shops and and small specialty places to eat just to the south.I didn't have any interaction with the owner or manager so can't comment on that. Loved the beach and the shops. Also loved just staying in my condo. It was wonderful to have a fully furnished condo with a great view an internet and wonderful TV.Maui Rentals was wonderful to work with and I hope to do so in the future.

If you're expecting a little more luxury, you're looking in the wrong direction. The property was clean and well maintained, however, the bed spread was ripped. I had not encountered any property management my entire stay, so if I needed help with anything or needed to ask questions, no one was available. You're supposed to register your car for a parking sticker, but I never received that so that bit of information is misleading for the property.
