## Emplacement
Once a fishing village, Saint-Raphaël is now a sports and cultural city as well as a popular seaside resort for tourists. The city offers a wide variety of landscapes and activities, divided between the old town, the various ports and beaches. The city stretches over 36 km of coastline and offers thirty sandy or pebble beaches, from the city center to the edges of the Alpes-Maritimes. With all the pleasures offered by water activities such as sailing, swimming, fishing and diving, walks along the water’s edge, as well as a maritime archaeological museum.
