Wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the ocean!

This is such a beautiful little ocean front oasis with a spa bathroom that will leave you relaxed and pampered! We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the covered hot tub overlooking the ocean along with the fire table at night. Weekend getaway

We spent a beautiful sunny weekend enjoying the beaches, Forrest, sunrises and sunsets. The hot tub was wondering and so was the spa bath tub and amazing steam shower!! The hosts were wonderful and met us when we arrived. Which we thought was a nice touch. We will be back!!

Winter stay in Sechelt

Our stay at John and Karell's Sunshine Suite was nothing short of fantastic! It was clear from the moment we arrived and walked into the room this was going to be a very comfortable stay. The care and forethought that the hosts put into the suite speak to their attention to details. Well appointed kitchen and BBQ just outside on the porch made the meal prep very convenient. Host-supplied coffee made the lazy mornings that much lazier. Comfortable couch in the living room and the electric furnace meant cozy times for reading or watching TV. The spacious bathroom and a soft bed more than delivered on our expectations.Above all, the spectacular view of the Georgia Strait and the beach as far as your eye can see makes this beach hideaway a remarkable weekend getaway. Soaking up the sun rays in the hot tub while sipping on some wine in the chilly winter air made us wish we had booked a longer stay. Bravo!

We loved our stay here. The location was perfect, 5 minute drive to downtown Sechelt. My husband enjoyed the hottub while I enjoyed the jet tub. Overall great experience. Thanks John!

Little slice of paradise on the Sunshine Coast

Suite was comfortable, view was gorgeous, and the owners were very friendly and approachable. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Sechelt!

Peaceful Luxury on the Sunshine Coast

The Sunset Suite was unbeatable for its total "on the water" experience for 3 nights, from the interior design features to the landscaped grounds. We enjoyed both the hot tub with its view and the indoor high-end, full length jacuzzi tub. John and Karell were very kind and hospitable. This was the highlight of our 10-day Pacific Northwest vacation. Yes, this was the place to watch sunsets!

Coastal getaway

Karell & John were excellent to deal with and great communication prior to and during our stay. Check in was super convenient and easy. Location was excellent and ideal for getting into both Gibsons (20 mins) & Sechelt (5 mins). Langdale ferry is approx 30 mins away. Beach access was quite a few stairs for those that may find stairs difficult, however once at the beach it's so private and quiet. Great spot for star gazing and chillin. Most beaches here and nearby are rocky but with some water shoes it was swimmable. Water temp was super warm early August. There is a sandy beach about 5 mins away. You have your own private sitting area outside your suite. Even with other guest suites onsite, we didn't hear anything nor see anyone. Would highly recommend for a couple looking for any kind of getaway. Would also stay here again if we make it back to the beautiful sunshine coast.

The perfect getaway!

Romantic, pet-friendly beach accommodations

This is the perfect vacation rental for two people and it’s pet-friendly! We loved the beach-access, outdoor hot-tub, indoor private jet tub, ocean-view, steam shower, and fire table on cool evenings. The owners thought of everything you’d need, including robes, slippers, towels for you and your pet, and kitchen accessories (even coffee and spices). We enjoyed walking along the shore into town for lunch and staying in the airy, lovely, comfy home. You can tell that the owners understand exactly what travellers want for a luxurious yet laid-back vacation. We look forward to returning and booking a massage next time!

Outstanding! Relaxing and peaceful with spectacular ocean view!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay here. The hosts, John and Karrall are super friendly and very accommodating. The property is an absolute GEM with amazing views! Our suite was very clean, modern, and comfortable with a spectacular luxurious bathroom that included a steam / rain shower and deep jetted soaker tub. There is also a hot tub outside with an ocean view. The private patio provides outstanding seaside views as well which are also visible from inside the suite. This property also has access down to the beach. We highly recommend staying here. You won't be disapponted!!!

Short Honeymoon stay

I gifted my cousin and her brand new husband 2 nights at this beautiful beachside room. They showed me photos of sitting on the veranda with wine and actually saw orcas swim by! They had beautiful sunsets and enjoyed the hot tub and their jacuzzi tub in the room. The place was spotless and the owners were super kind:) I showed up with their bags after the wedding and she helped me bring everything in and set it all up for them. If I have guests coming from out of town I will definitely recommend this place. It is gorgeous and the kitchen is well equipped. The location is perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You made their stay very special!

West Coast retreat at its best

John and Karell offer this stunning retreat that has a second to none water view, high attention to detail and is very comfortable, clean and extremely relaxing. The bathroom tub and shower area is pure luxury. Well done.
