Winter Haven is a beautiful, charming and friendly city locally known as "Chain of Lakes!" Strategically located between Disney and Legoland, Orlando and Tampa! All major attractions are around the corner from Universal Studios Orlando, Epic Universe, Sea World to Bok Tower, Legoland, Bush Gardens, Clearwater, St. Pete with its white sandy beaches await you. There is so much to see and so little time. Come home and enjoy all Winter Haven has to offer! You will find everything you need at The Posner Shopping Plaza with easy access to Interstate 4 (East-West), Highway 27, Highway 417 and more.

Short Getaway from the Cold of Pennsylvania

The house and the neighborhood are relatively new and there are sidewalks and street lights for evening walks. It is close to Legoland and Bok Tower Gardens, which is beautiful. The property is dog friendly and overall well maintained. Everyone in the neighborhood was friendly and it felt like home. It is a short drive to restaurants and shopping and the area is easy to navigate. The home is best suited for a single family with children and that is how the home is set up. For us as a retired couple looking to escape the cold for a few weeks the property was missing a couple things that prevented us from rating it 5 stars. The Master Bedroom had a queen bed and the others had singles that can be reconfigured. Another couple join us for a week of our stay and they were less than comfortable in the singles which have a thinner mattress. They are probably fine for children but not ideal for adults. Also there is no cable/satellite service (APPs are available on the set) so depending on how tech savvy someone is that can be a problem. It was super bowl weekend so we were scrambling to figure out how to watch the big game and solved that problem by installing the APP for our satellite service. We also could not really enjoy the warm weather at the house. There is a small patio you can sit chairs on but no shade. A grill and a table with an umbrella would make the property much more attractive. Overall we give the property a 4 stars, we enjoyed our stay and the host was very responsive.

We love Winter Haven because is close to all major attractions but far enough to enjoy peace and tranquility. We love shopping, eating at any of its various nearby restaurants, playing golf, fishing, and exploring all the great things our city has to offer!
