Pool is not heated!

The property is really nice and clean. But the solar heated pool does not work. Its cold even if its 75 degrees outside. The hot tube is nice as well, but you cant turn it off when you want to. Once you turn it on, it shuts off after at least 30 minutes. Please change your hot tube controller to a digital one that you can turn on and off as needed. And don’t say the pool is heated, when it isn’t. Other than that, it was pretty awesome!

Magnificent setting

This setting is really beautiful. The home is so comfortable . The pool and hottub are perfect! Sunrise, sunset, moon rise… you’re really living in nature. Highly recommend this property.

Clean, pretty, great view

We enjoyed our stay. Very pretty house. We had an issue with hot water but the manager's response was immediate and professional and took care of it with no problems. Would definitely recommend this property.

February Family Birthday Get-Away

We planned a family weekend get together in Joshua Tree to celebrate my wife's birthday and had a wonderful time at El Coyote. The house is beautiful, spacious and private -- with a view off the back deck that is awe-inspiring any time of day! The infinity pool looks spectacular -- but was freezing! If it was heated, we would have been able to fully enjoy this amazing feature. Instead, we spent a lot of time in the hot tub and fire-pit. The house's location made it very convenient for shopping and to visit the Joshua Tree National Park. Had a fantastic weekend and we are thinking of making this a yearly tradition!

Desert Bliss

House was warm, cozy and a delight. Outside amenities (fire pit, jacuzzi, picnic table, etc.) were very convenient and enjoyable. House was located near entrance of the park, and we found some really good places to eat and have coffee nearby. I highly recommend a trip to Joshua Tree and this property.

A bit of high desert paradise

The house is lovely. The hot tub is an absolute delight. The neighborhood is as quiet and peaceful as you could want. It was the exact get away we needed. The only drawback was that we did not receive check-in instructions until well past check-in time and not until contacting VRBO customer service to get in touch with property owners to get check-in instructions because we could not get through to the owners with the in app messaging or provided phone number. After being put in touch with the owner, this did not seem like a regular occurrence, more like a one-time fluke due to extenuating circumstances, and we were able to problem-solve and get situated.This rental is really great and we plan to come back next year. Thanks for having us!

Fantastic house! Spacious with beautiful views. Lots of outdoor seating options. Fully equipped kitchen. Lovely pool. Great location! Would definitely stay here again!

Great spot!

We did a quick two nights during a crazy winter storm. While we stayed inside the entire time, we had a blast. Cozy fire, great kitchen for cooking. The pool is beautiful but we didn’t dare brave the cold and rain (and snow!) to take a dip. Would totally be back!

Beautiful, comfortable and great location!

Such a lovely home with beautiful views all around. Can't beat the location, so close to the park entrance. The house had everything we needed and the beds were more comfortable than the ones at home! Already looking forward to coming back for a future stay.

Made great memories

We had such an amazing time. The view is beautiful, pure desert. Sitting in the pool and looking out was so relaxing. The house was the prefect size for 8 adults and the amenities made everything more comfortable.

40th Birthday with Desert 🏜 Energy

The property manager, Tim, was very responsive from the beginning of booking, and also let us check-in @ 1pm instead of the original 4pm time, which was very cool! The property/house was just as advertised and even more stunning! We had an absolute blast. Only issue was that we were confused with the outdoor music policy. The message from property manager indicated no parties and no loud outdoor music, so our group interpreted this as music at a moderate level outside was allowed, however we received a message from house staff indicating they had a couple of calls about loud music, and were told that there is NO outdoor music allowed in the county. If we would have had more clarity on this we would have been respectful about this rule, as it is the same rule we have followed in Palm Springs greater area. So would just request that it is made more clear moving forward for future guests. Would absolutely stay here again, it was truly magical!

Breathtaking and relaxing

Beautiful home, perfect for a family getaway. The pool was definitely a highlight for my daughters. The views during the early morning, day and evening are absolutely gorgeous. Very quiet and relaxing. Close drive to national park allowed for us to go for the day and then go back at night for star gazing.

The house and property is amazing. I rented this house for my bday getaway with some close friends. The house is very comfortable tastefully decorated. We spent most of our time outside in the pool and jacuzzi. We all had such a great time!!!

The house was beautiful. Everything was exactly as the pictures and description except for the heated pool was misleading. The pool was not heated.

The four acres of desert vegetation are stunning. I feel in love with this property the first time I walked the grounds. The valley views give it a remote feeling, but the home is ideally situated minutes from town and the park. The house is airy with high ceilings. I added six French doors to this sundrenched home so guests can enjoy the beautiful views from every room. The infinity pool, the cedar spa, the firepit, the stargazing pit, the outdoor shower… all add to the transformative experience this property presents.
