In a picturesque village in Haute-Loire, at the end of a dead-end road, Pascale and Kevin welcome you to the Gîte du Couvent, a fully renovated character house. Combining old-world charm with a revisited country decor, this place promises a peaceful and friendly getaway.
Perfect for stays with family or friends, the cottage features spacious living spaces, a fully equipped kitchen to delight your loved ones, four cozy bedrooms, including a family room with four beds, and two bathrooms. It can accommodate up to 10 people in optimal comfort.
At the front, there is space for parking two vehicles. At the rear, a large enclosed garden invites you to relax, play games, or spend beautiful summer evenings around the barbecue.
Things to do nearby:
Hike on the Mézenc plateau, explore the wild gorges of the Loire and Allier rivers, swim in the clear waters of the Bouchet, Issarlès, and Naussac lakes. The region is also full of heritage treasures: Romanesque churches, charming villages, and local specialties to savor.
Electricity is extra, depending on the meter reading (above 8 kWh per day).

The open kitchen, meticulously equipped (range cooker, refrigerator-freezer, utensils, food processors, pots, and pans galore), opens onto a large, welcoming table. The lounge area, arranged around a wood-burning stove, invites you to relax after a beautiful day in the great outdoors. At the rear, accessible from the living room, a terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue awaits you in fine weather. The large enclosed garden provides an ideal space for gathering, playing, or simply enjoying the peace and quiet. The orientation of the terraces allows you to find shaded and sunny spots at any time of day.
On the ground floor, you'll also find a convenient laundry room (with a washing machine and a second refrigerator) and a separate toilet.
A wide staircase with a banister leads you to the upper floor, where you'll find four bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as two separate toilets:
• Two separate bedrooms, each with two 80cm single beds (which can be joined together), surround the first bathroom.
• Two other separate bedrooms share a second bathroom with a shower: one with a 140cm double bed, the other with two 80cm single beds (which can be joined together) and two bunk beds.
