We had such a wonderful stay. It was the perfect place for our family to spend a long weekend together at. Everyone loved all the things to do, kids and adults alike. The rooms are big and spacious so you never felt cramped. We enjoyed all the outdoor spaces as well. We also saw deer every morning! All in all it was just perfect and we had a great time. The home met the needs of our family very well and was a joy for the kids. We made good use of the grill and really enjoyed the campfire. Also, the game room a lot of fun. Lovely space and yard - nice picnic table, but did not have time to use the hammocks.What could be improved:WiFi zone weak on the upper floor (needs a WiFi extender?) WiFi fine on lower levelMiddle bedroom lamp did not work (needs a 3-way bulb?)Dish Remote not located for upper level TVBeautiful neighborhood. The house is wonderful- great layout for a large family. The game room is extra special, particularly for the Buckeye fans in our group. Location, grounds and outdoor spaces are terrific. Perfect location for a ladies retreat with lifelong friends!

The home was an ideal setting for a weekend getaway with friends. With 10 ladies, we had plenty of space for sleeping & sharing meals or hanging out plus the jacuzzi & game room provided fun memories. It was close to old man’s cave and Hocking Hills Winery which were our top picks for activities. We highly recommend this home for anyone looking to get away with a big group.

Great vacation

Property was perfect for my family ( grown children & grandchildren). Comfortable beds for everyone and an upstairs living room along with lower level living room. Plenty of seating for everyone. The house was up on a small hill with lots of trees and privacy - perfect for coffee on the decks in your PJ’s. Kitchen was equipped with lots of dishes, cooking pots/pans, cutting boards, utensils to make family dinners/breakfast which we appreciated. We loved they had several games at the house for our down times, along with seating on the front porch, top deck and lower level near the hot tub. House was layed out beautifully so you can enjoy time with family or space for a little quiet time for yourself. Hopefully we can return in the future.

Relaxing Location for Large Family

The house is located in a really pretty area with lots of trees. It is secluded which was nice. The size was great for all 13 of us from adult grandkids - grandparents. We had one small problem with the coffeemaker which was resolved very quickly. We had a great visit in the Hocking Hills Area.

Property is well maintained and very centrally located close to hikes and breweries. Lots of seating throughout the house for parties of 10 which we always appreciate. Host was very responsive to our needs after a snow storm.

I’m a father of four and a grandfather to six, and some of my most cherished memories were made during large, multigenerational family vacations — the kind where cousins laugh late into the night, grandparents tell stories around the fire, and everyone gets a chance to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with each other.

That belief is what inspired me to create this space. I wanted a place where families and friends — across generations — could gather under one roof, surrounded by nature, with room to breathe, play, rest, and make memories that last a lifetime.

Whether it’s a weekend getaway, a milestone celebration, or just much-needed time together, I designed this home to be more than just a stay. It’s a retreat for the soul. I hope your time here brings you the same joy, connection, and laughter it’s brought my own family over the years.

I started coming here over 30 years ago, bringing my four children to explore the caves, hike the trails, skip stones in the river, and roast marshmallows under the stars. Those adventures became lifelong memories — the kind you never forget.

Now, I get to do the same with my six grandchildren. Watching them experience the same joy, wonder, and freedom in these woods is priceless.

When I found this property — nestled in the heart of the Hills, private, peaceful, and surrounded by nature — I knew it was the perfect place to build something truly special. A place to gather, slow down, laugh, connect, and create memories that span generations.
