Upon arrival, guests will check-in at the resort’s front desk using their resort confirmation # just as if they had booked directly through the resort. Full access to the resort’s services and amenities are included with every reservation. Welcome to Marriott's Timber Lodge, where majestic mountains and endless outdoor excursions create an idyllic year-round escape. Perfectly nestled in the heart of Lake Tahoe's South Shore within Heavenly Village, you'll be at the center of picturesque adventure, yet close enough to return to all the comforts of home. Just steps away from the Marriott's Timber Lodge is one of the world's largest gondolas, ready to whisk you to the top of Heavenly Mountain, where you'll find the longest ski run and the greatest vertical drop in the area. We loved how centralized the location was to Heavenly Village. Perfect for our stay.

Our stay was amazing we had all the restaurants shopping gambling and skiing we wanted nearby. What a wonderful winter stay!

Perfect for skiing

The place was in the perfect location for skiing. We really appreciated the Tupperware in the kitchen for veggies, etc. Overall the place was great.

Ideal all around

Sweet 3-room layout with bedrooms on either side of kitchen and dining/living room for different wake-up times. Gondola is right outside the building, adjacent to Timber Lodge ski valet. Very clean and updated rooms, lobby, and common areas. Valet wasn’t cheap but they were quick. Tons of great restaurants and shopping nearby!

Luxury close to the Heavenly Gondola

At the Marriott Timber Lodge vacation club they’ve got it all: location, friendly and efficient service, and comfortable rooms filled with personal touches. We were here for a week, and we’d gladly come again.

Ideal all around

Ski-in, ski-out, and just footsteps to convenient ski valet and gondola. Great 3-room setup (bedrooms on either side of kitchen and living room) for different wake-up times and young kids. You're right in the village with easy walks to all kinds of restaurants, from Starbucks (convenient for early am eats before skiing) to Kelani's (incredible sushi and Hawaiian). Highly recommend. We'd book it again for sure!

Took my 2 teenage kids to ski for the New Year. Room was fine and it was clean. Super close to Heavenly gondola.Only complaint is that the hotel building was too HOT

The 2 bedroom villa was very convenient, right next to the gondola. It was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything you need. I hope to stay here again next year!

Wonderful!

Great property, fantastic location, very easy check in and friendly, helpful staff. We went for a 5 day ski trip and being literally 20 steps from the Heavenly gondola, the location is unbeatable. The VRBO description is a bit vague and we found this vacation rental to be even better than we anticipated!

Very well appointed and clean property. Everything you would want in room - nice kitchen, fire place... Great (and warm) outdoor pool and hot tubs. Nice work out facility. Steps from Gondola (which no fault to owner often shuts down)

Spacious, Clean and Convenient

This property was nice, clean and very convenient- close to the gondola, shops and restaurants. The only issue was that the gondola was not running 2 out of 6 days due to high winds but the shuttle to California lodge was not too bad.

Great Location

You cannot find a better location to stay if you want to be in town and have access to the Gondola. Walking distance to restaurants, Starbucks, and shops. The only other nice option is the other Marriot property next door. Rooms are nice and as advertised. Pool and hot tubs are great. Check in and check out can potentially have long lines so plan accordingly. Staff was very helpful.

Great Location but occupancy was incorrect

The Timber Lodge is always a great vacation spot. Its clean, centrally located and there is lots to do in the area. Unfortunately the listing was incorrect and rather than accommodating 8, our rooms could only sleep 7. Instead of 2 full size pull out beds, our room had one full size and one twin size. It would be beneficial to have the rooms specific details and photos for each listing, rather than a generic description for all 2 bedrooms at the Timber Lodge since all the room set ups can vary.
