Great weekend getaway

My family of 6 stayed for 2 nights at this charming house. The owner stayed in the basement the first night, and we enjoyed getting to know a little more about her and the area. Definitely would stay again.

Relaxing stay!

Really enjoyed staying in this historic property! Close access to everything. Could get pretty much everywhere on foot or a short drive. Great time of year to be up on the Shore as well! Prompt communications with the host throughout our stay.

Cozy home for the weekend

Perfect location just minutes from the curling center, where my son was competing. Beautiful home, very comfortable. Host responded immediately when I had a question for her.

Great place to stay

Great location. It felt very homey and had a lot of extras in the kitchen that would have been great if we would have stayed longer. We didn’t realize the owner lived downstairs, though that wasn’t really an issue; just unexpected. Overall a great stay.

Cute, clean, & comfy home

Without construction, the location of the house is very accessible. The house itself had so much charm and character, very clean and quiet too. I'm looking forward to returning for a longer stay!

Cozy home with great location

Cozy home with a great location for many Duluth attractions. Would definitely stay here again. Would have been a tight fit for sleeping arrangements for six, but with only three, it was comfy. Kind and communicative host.

Great Loction

Nice classic home to stay in. There is a coop grocery with deli close by. Easy walk to downtown and the lake area. Stairs to the bedrooms a bit steep, but manageable as long as you are mobile enough.

My cat Norman and I live in the basement of the house. I enjoy living in Duluth and doing all the outdoors actives. I like to do pottery and lampwork. I enjoy sharing our great city with all my guests.

I suppose I am biased but I have put tons of work into this house! I did most of it myself with some help from friends and my nephew Thomas. I think it is quaint and comfortable, love the backyard and the location!
