Mountain View home you will fall in love with. This four-bedroom, three-bathroom plus spacious loft is perfect for a family and friends trip. A retro Western style gives you a storybook experience. Cozy living room with flat screen television and surround sound speakers perfect for watching movies or sporting events. Spacious loft, wood-burning fireplace, and large back porch. There are two bedrooms on the main floor with queen beds, a queen bed in the basement area, and a set of bunk beds in the loft. Just a short drive to the slopes, hiking trails, and downtown Banner Elk. This mountain home is the perfect place to make memories and have fun with family and friends. All guests are required to sign a rental agreement within 7 days of booking. NO check in's on Thanksgiving or Christmas Day.

Musty/Mold and Moisture- Extremely strong mold smell

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The musty/Mold smell would take your breathe away when you opened the front door. We had to keep the doors and windows opened in order to stay in the house. This is a health hazard to anyone staying in this house and it will be reported to the public health and safety dept of NC. The owners had to have known how bad the smell was before renting it. The comforters were damp from the moisture. No hot water in a kitchen. Would NOT recommend this house until the Mold is completely taken care of. MOLD is a Health Hazard and I’m sure this has been reported before it is extremely full of Mold.
