Bring your whole family & escape to this beautiful lake house, filled with natural light and tons of character! From the loft bedroom, w/ it's own private balcony, to the expansive deck, perfect for watching sunsets over the water, and living space throughout 3 levels. There's not much left to be desired here! Bring your boat! Tie up to the dock and plenty of parking. Only 0.2 miles to Lake Ida's public access and a short 2 mile drive to Carlos access if you want to hop on chain for the day.

July 4th family reunion

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was in great condition, very clean and had wonderful amenities. The lake and shoreline were perfect. Great place for families. I would stay at this property again.

Great location in Alexandria close to evert thinging

Great space beautiful sunrise and sunsets close to a lot of different venues.

90th Birthday celebration

Maggie our host was amazing, she was very attentive to our needs and was quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we had. The property was everything we wanted and more. We had 11 adult family members staying there and we never once felt like we were living on top of each other. Nice yard to play yard games and a huge deck where we could sit and just hang out together. The lake beautiful and the sunsets were even more beautiful! There was everything we needed to cook or grill meals there and Everyday essentials were there from kitchen cookware to bathroom needs!! Well done Maggie!! We would definitely recommend this place to a large family or group for a great getaway.

Amazing property

We had a great time with extended family at this house on the lake. It was an easy drive from Des Moines. We were very pleased with the property and the amenities. The 64 steps to the boat dock gave the kids a brief cardio workout several times a day. Fishing was great(catching could have been better but not unexpected for mid August).

Phenomenal!

First let me start by saying how absolutely wonderful Maggie was to work with! She was fast at responding, and didn’t seem to mind the novels I wrote her asking questions and telling her my life story! ;) This was the first time all six sisters were getting together, (unfortunately one couldn’t make it) but we truly had a wonderful time. The house was spectacular. The kitchen was fully stocked. The beds were SO comfy. There wasn’t anything we could have wanted more of, except maybe time. Waking up to the view of Lake Ida……it took my breath away. It was truly beautiful! I hope one day we can all return! Thank you for sharing your gorgeous home with us! Lynette
