Darling Home recently renovated for relaxation and exploring all Fort Walton Beach and Destin Beach have to offer! Tucked away on a quiet street, this home is the perfect place to get away and relax as it is minutes from the beach and park. As a matter of fact, you can see the water from the front yard! We are about a 15-minute drive to Destin and the VPS airport which makes this home the perfect place to stay on vacation.

Over all considering the properties location with proximity to the beach, grocery, dining, as well as everything else you really won’t find a better deal. I also have a disabled child that was able to get all around the house/ property without issue so that was a major plus. There are a few minor gripes like the water pressure in the only shower was close to nonexistent. There was 1 role of toilet tissue provided for a 1 week stay. Trash bins were overflowing when we arrived and when we left. There’s also a mouse problem he chewed a hole in one of our trash bags. But overall the place is nice, clean, and could not be in a better location. Would absolutely stay here again.

Did what we needed, but there are some things that need to be fixed.

The interior was prettier than the pictures. The place definitely served our needs but there were a few things that had us like uhhhh:1. The water pressure in the shower was so weak, it felt like light rainfall and it took us all forever to wash our hair. 2. There were mice and we found a large rat trap under the bathroom sink. Some mice actually ate into a bread bag we had so we had to throw it out.3. The backyard was a mess. Very overgrown4. The grill was rusty so we couldn't use it. 5. There were only 2 rolls of toilet paper. 6. Someone kept changing the smart thermostat to 80 degrees while we werent there, and it even happened in the middle of the night. Not fun coming back from being in the heat all day to a hot house. Overall it was nice. If those things above were fixed or updated, I would give it all 5 stars.

Pleasantly Surprised

I was pleasantly surprised by this home. It was spacious, clean and very impressive. I wish I could give the home a 10/10 but the air conditioning was not at its best. I did speak with the owner, and they sent someone over. I have stayed in many homes for vacation, and this is one of my favorites. I give this property a 9/10 and yes, I would rent it again!

Great Spot

Amazing location, great property, prettier in person, and so close to the lovely bay. Would stay again. The owner is very friendly and accommodating as well. 10/10 spot.
