Rios Florida Family Vacation

Perry’s Dania Beach home was absolutely amazing. My entire family and friends (10 total) enjoyed it. Plenty to do, very clean, and location is great.Perry was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Great location and fun home

Nice home with a little of everything you need. The pool is partially above ground but gets the job done. One of the rooms has poor AC and electrical can be sketchy in one of the bathrooms. Overall a decent place in a great location. I would recommend and stay again.

Private Relaxing Getaway

Perry, owner very friendly and checked in with us to make sure we were good or needed anything. We stayed for a week due to hurricane, nice to have an owner who cared. House is nice and pool and backyard kept us entertained and helped with keeping the kids distracted during a stressful situation. A little private relaxing escape. Lots to do in area.

Remodeled home with a great backyard

Home was comfortable, and backyard was lovely especially for our 3yr old who couldn’t get enough of the playground. Home is recently remodeled and it looks like the owners are still working on some bits and pieces, but the stay was great. Perry was incredibly responsive, and quickly answered any questions we had. Neighborhood was up and coming, but really quiet. Overall, this place worked out perfectly for my kids and visiting family - we would stay here again!

Fantastic

The host was incredible and the home was beautiful. Parking situation isn’t great. No AC except in certain bedrooms?? Was not aware of that. But managed to make it work and the stay was wonderful

The property was not inhabitable

Upon entering the rental, there was a strong mildew odor in the house. There were multiple cosmetic items that were not up to par. Broken screen on the door, a huge crack in the backroom wall, outlet cover coming off the wall, and mildew covered the patio furniture. I called the host right away and he Saif he would come over to the house in 45 mins but took him almost 2 hours to arrive. I am 8 months pregnant and staying in the house with the strong mildew filled air was not safe for me. We spoke to the host ans told him what the problem was ans he agreed that he didn't want us to feel uncomfortable. We had to leave and find another place.

They were very kind and attentive to us, they have a spectacular patio, and the house is spacious, beautiful and cozy, thanks to Perry for the attention and for the place

Short stay

This property had the space needed for my family and Perry responded quickly. The outside pool area was very nice and served its purpose. The kitchen area had adequate amenities. It appeared that that there was water damage to the floors as you can smell the "odor" when you walk in. Some of the flooring was warped in the living room due to the water. We had to buy some air fresheners but it did not help. There were burnt marks throughout the floors and one of the pool table leg was broken. One side of the home had better A/C than the other although Perry did try to assist. Lastly, there were no instructions to check out but since I have rented numerous VRBO's I did what was normal protocol.

Lots of space

Lots of space to spread out and visit with our family. Property was recently renovated, nice open concept. Some finishing touches needed by the contractor. Owner was available, friendly and very helpful. We were even able to use his dock for our family's boat.

Close to airport; convenient drive to anywhere

We are giving this home 5 stars; the primary reason for that is because the hosting agent was very responsive to the items we needed for this house (in order for it to feel well stocked). The house definitely had some gaps for our family to make the most use out of it, but the hosting agent was so responsive to just about every request we made, he helped to redeem the experience. The location is convenient, and you can get to just about anywhere in 5-8 minutes. Airport is just a few minutes away, too. The HVAC is not evenly distributed in this home, so some rooms are much warmer than others, even with the A/C on a low setting. Consequently, some of the rooms were complete iceboxes at night while others struggled to stay cooler. In the kitchen there isn’t a pantry anywhere, so we used the cabinets for dry food storage. Several of the electrical outlets in the house did not work, which posed a challenge for a family with small kids who have several things to plug in/charge throughout the day or night. There wasn’t a single working outlet in the dining room, which we found odd. Several of the ceiling lights are on dimmers, but they are quite fickle and will ‘strobe’ when given too much power. We just backed down the dimmer function to be on the safe side. From a ‘family friendly’ perspective, the home is honestly geared more towards young couples without kids, or perhaps a bachelor or bachelorette weekend getaway. However, the backyard is really nice, and the play area is the primary reason we chose to stay at this home. There were a couple important missing nuts and bolts on the playground which made it a little unnerving at times from a sturdy point of view, but it did the job, and was a very welcomed addition to this house. The pool was pretty good, but it is chlorine based. It’s winter time so the pool was likely a bit under-used, but as I said, the hosting agent did respond quickly when we requested to have the pool cleaned and PH tested (same day, which was great). There was no vacuum cleaner anywhere in the home, so that made daily messes with small kids a bit of a chore. Hoping the owner will add one for the next guests to use if necessary. For all that, the hosting agent was highly amicable, and very kind to all of the requests we made to help get this home to feel like it was ‘renter ready’ for future guests.
