🏖️Sleepy Hollow Beach Resort, Stonebridge C – Family Fun on Lake Michigan!

Stonebridge C is a charming, petite one-bedroom, one-bath cottage that offers rustic character and a cozy retreat nestled among the peaceful wooded surroundings of Sleepy Hollow Beach Resort. Perfect for couples or a small family, this inviting cottage comfortably sleeps up to four guests with a king-size bed in the bedroom and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living area.

The comfortable living space provides a welcoming place to relax after a day spent enjoying the beach, pool, or resort activities. A petite kitchen offers everything needed to prepare meals and snacks throughout your stay, while wall-unit air conditioners help keep the cottage comfortable during the warmer summer months. Please note that Stonebridge C does not have a washer or dryer.

One of the unique features of Stonebridge C is its ability to adjoin with Stonebridge B, a two-bedroom, one-bath cottage. When rented together, the two cottages create a spacious three-bedroom, two-bath accommodation while still allowing each unit to maintain its own private living space—an ideal option for extended families or groups vacationing together.

Guests of Stonebridge C can enjoy all of Sleepy Hollow Beach Resort’s exceptional amenities, including 1,000 feet of private Lake Michigan beach, an Olympic-sized heated swimming pool, tennis and pickleball courts, beautifully maintained grounds, and activities for guests of all ages. With its rustic charm, intimate size, and peaceful setting, Stonebridge C is a delightful home base for a relaxing Sleepy Hollow getaway.

Stonebridge C rents on Fridays.

Sleepy Hollow resort is great - tons to do and easy access to the beach and pool from cabin C. The cabin is small but has everything you need for a couple or small family. Unit was clean, beds were comfortable, A/Cs kept us cool and all appliances worked well. If you are a light sleeper, the shared walls with the unit next door don’t offer a lot of noise cancellation, so that would be my only caution when booking. Otherwise, great unit for a short stay - thank you for having us!

It’s a small lake cabin atmosphere very family friendly with beautiful grounds gated community . We loved the pool, the bikes the beach and the beach fire pit. Stars are amazing at night there too! The king bed was very nice and the kitchen clean. The water pressure was very nice in the shower/tub. The window ac units need to be updated- gone !!!! and the windows need new shades in bedroom cleaned of cobwebs spiders some TLC would make a huge difference. Our patio was dirty had to sweep it off and the outside take and chairs were moldy and dirty. The manager was awesome and communication was great before we arrived!

The pictures don’t do the area surrounding this cabin justice! It was absolutely beautiful. The trees, the playground, and access to the beach were just what we’d hoped for! The only feedback is that we didn’t have everything we needed (hand soap, had to use dish soap, and extra blankets for the sleeper sofa). It is also quite small which worked for us but something to note! All around we had a really nice stay!

Great beginning to a summer vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our accomodations were comfortable. Our weather cooperated but it was HOT. The beach, lake and pool were a focal point and the kids loved them all. The younger kids enjoyed the kids program (arts and crafts, tennis clinic etc)all through the week. Our adults enjoyed the tennis and pickleball on the property and we enjoyed some golf at some local courses.

Sleepy Hollow is great, Stonebridge C less so

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Sleepy Hollow was great but I would not rent Stonebridge C again. Due to the high humidity, the lack of central air and the general lack of ventilation, the place was very damp, particularly the bathroom. It never fully dried and I ended up getting athletes foot on the last day. The kitchen was functional but not updated and with very few pots/pans. Additionally, the neighbors were very loud until very late at night. I think there are better 1 bedroom places on site.

Wonderful week at Sleepy Hollow !!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had our usual wonderful time at Sleepy Hollow, the only minus was our extremely nasty encounter with spiders in our unit... much more than usual... and we had to deal with the very strong musty odor which is easily alleviated by airing it out a couple of days before arrival especially if the unit has not been in use.

Disappointed!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The outdoor amenities of Sleepy Hollow were enjoyed by our 2 daughters, orherwise the stay was disappointing. This was our first time staying at SH and we booked very last minute so there was not much to choose from, but our unit “c” was outdated, dirty, and smelled musty. It was obvious it was not cleaned anytime recently. The steps leading to the door for full of dirt and webs, there were spiders and webs and a dead decaying frog on the kitchen floor, the sheets were and felt dusty, the floor dusty, and it smelled old and wet. A recent cleaning would have taken care of all of that. I certainly would have expected cleaner, more updated housing for the price. Bikes were available which is a nice amenity, but clearly not taken care of. We would certainly not stay in “c” again. One shout out to Rhonda who was very pleasant, otherwise others at front desk seemed less enthused to help.

Great place with musty odor

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was great. It's close to the lake, nicely designed, and has all the amenities we needed. The only issue was a fairly strong musty odor. It took a day or so with the windows open to dissipate. Despite that we would definitely rent this again.

Stonebridge C 15 Sep - 23 Sep 2024

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My dissatisfaction is with the particular unit I was in (Stonebridge C), not with the resort itself or the other units on the resorts grounds. Specifically,1. Although a washer/dryer and dishwasher were advertised, the unit had none.2. The refrigerator was 20-30 years old and needs to be updated.3. Both window air conditioning units were old and work poorly4. Observed some mold on the calk sealant around the bathroom sink; and the sink (or at least the toilet seat) needs to be replaced5. The bed has no nightstands6. In general, whereas every other unit I visited had updated appliances and other amenities, Stonebridge C was dingy and in desperate need of updating.

Nearly great

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The grounds, facilities and staff were all good. The beach, and hilltop view above, are spectacular. The pool is clean and large. The unit we stayed in is nice with some updates (flooring). The kitchen and bath are a bit dated but clean and ok.The only frying pan in the unit was our only real complaint. It is not non-stick, and is a quite old stainless version, that is warped and does not sit flat on the electric stove. This simple aspect needs an upgrade. The unit has window AC units in the living area and bedroom, which were sufficient on the hot (nearly 90) day we were there.

Cottage C Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely loved the resort! Cottage C was what was expected and got the job done. Refrigerator barely kept anything cold and had to be adjusted constantly to prevent food from going bad and a/c units don't have a thermostat so the room temp was all over the place. TV didn't have YouTube TV as stated on the sign in sheet. Will be back but will for sure stay in a different cottage.

A week at Cottage C at Sleepy Hollow

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second year at Cottage C - and it was a great week! The only suggestion... it needs a good "bug" spraying. We had quite a few spiders vacationing with us... other than that... everything was great... the cabin had been aired out nicely (which it had not last year) and was clean and ready for our stay! The front window blind could use a repair as it is quite difficult to raise and lower with the tiny string that is left ... but other than that no repairs needs that we could see.

Great wweekend escape, even better location!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked last minute for a quick weekend getaway. Was looking for something with Lake Michigan beach access. Sleepy Hollow is a hidden gem with great amenities, beach front and awesome condo rental units. We stayed in unit C because of the comfy King Bed. The unit is equipped with all you need for a longer stay if necessary. I could go on and on, the website does not do justice to the grounds and facilities as they are even nicer than what is depicted online. Our only wish was we had booked a few extra days. The staff is super friendly, accommodating and helpful. We will be back!

Unit C

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: With the exception of having to wait 2 hours to check in, the unit was okay! Was not too satisfied with the office staff response to not replacing the beach volleyball net (we have a large group and play much beach volleyball~ had to go purchase our own)! We do love Sleepy Hollow, but feel the prices increase too much each year as the level of service provided declines!

Another Fantastic Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the stay was great. The grounds and pool were beautiful and clean. Day one on the beach we had to smell and see quite a few dead fish, but by day two the crew had cleaned them up. Unit C is perfect for two adults and two children. My mom and daughter stayed in the twin beds while I shared the very comfortable pull-out with my toddler. The unit was very comfortable and quiet. The only complaint about this particular unit is it has a musty smell that the other units do not have. We have stayed in many different ones. This unit is in a wooded area and seems to have been built at a different time. This one is nice and a great price, but not as fancy or updated as some of the others. I do recommend it for a family with young kids who wont be spending much time inside anyway.
