Peaceful Cottage on Lake Michigan

Warm weather is right around the corner at our peaceful cottage on the Lake Michigan shoreline!
Book now to relax and enjoy a stay at the shoreline of Lake Michigan and the ever changing forest at our vacation property set up for two.

Enjoy solitary beach access right from the backyard, explore and search for beach glass, fossils, rocks and yooperlights at your own leisure! Out of the front yard has direct access to over 10 miles of meandering trails in the Raur West Forest to hike, bike or ski.

Just a short drive of under 5 minutes to access the Point Beach State Forest with miles of walking trails, well maintained bike trails and rustic ice age trails.
Cottage is a 7-mile short trip to Two Rivers through the forest of the rustic highway to the grocery, restaurants, and groomed beaches.

The cottage is always very well maintained, we keep the place top notch clean and always try to provide the needed essentials for your stay. Including a food pantry with essentials and snacks. And a stocked refrigerator with all unopened new essentials for your stay. Bathroom is stocked as well with towels and all cleaning essentials.

There is lots of fun games, radio controlled vehicles, and a arcade machine that is not shown in pictures.

The cottage is set back down a long blacktop driveway from a low traffic road and is one of the last few true quiet places around that will provide a wonderful relaxing stay, The beach will almost feel private as there is hardy any foot traffic due to our special location.
Our small business attached to cottage is only operated on Monday evenings and Tuesdays, so the 2 acre property is COMPLETELY to yourselves with no one else there during your entire stay!

With the large yard overlooking the lake you will be able enjoy everything it has to offer while BBQing, having an outdoor picnic, or playing outdoor games including cornhole that is provided.

All we ask is that you try to keep the place clean and have a great time! There is no hidden fees, cleaning fees, or chores to do except wash your dishes before leaving.

We really hope to have you as our guest at our peaceful cottage on Lake Michigan so you experience it for yourself.

Wow! We loved our stay at the cottage. Amazing stay near a state park with Lake Michigan frontage, we were able to hike in nearby woods or walk on the beach each day. This is also one of the best stocked rentals I've ever stayed in - everything we needed in the kitchen, ample towels, games and movies. We definitely will be back for another weekend getaway.

The cottage is a great place to getaway and enjoy the sandy beach, pine trees, beautiful surroundings. Experience peace, the sounds of nature, and wildlife from the deck outside the kitchen or the picnic spot closer to the shore. Inside the cottage is wonderful also with well equipped spacious kitchen, vaulted ceiling, games, many essentials and extras provided. Feels like a home away from home.

This was either our 3rd or 4th time staying here. We love this place! The property owners / mangers are the best - they have the place fully stocked for you - even providing some eggs, drinks, milk and bread. Plus, they roast their own coffee beans which they also provide for your stay and it’s our favorite coffee now.We love how private this property is. We were able to watch all the wildlife that’s around this property. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and getaway from everything then you need to stay here.

Wow! What an amazing place! I highly recommend it. The house, the hosts, and the surroundings were absolutely the best. The house was very clean and comfortable. Everything was labeled to help with the layout. And they had maps and ideas to help navigate the area. Perfect place for my husband and I. Everything we needed and then some! The hosts went above and beyond. I’ve never rented a Vrbo where the hosts left fresh groceries! ( and fresh roasted coffee!) It was so thoughtful and appreciated. And such an easy and relaxed check in and checkout. They thought of everything. The area/surroundings were amazing! We pretty much had the beach to ourselves. We walked for miles back and forth along the lakeshore. Took some hikes in the forest. Did some bird watching, saw some bald eagles! So peaceful and relaxing. Thank you to the hosts for sharing such a gem! And for going above and beyond with all the thoughtful extras! It was a blessing to spend our anniversary there! And we will be back!

We absolutely loved our weekend stay here! The property was clean and the inside was clean and well stocked with anything you could want. The only thing to note is there is no wifi and we had poor cell service. It was not a big deal because that was our reason to get away. We enjoyed bringing our kayaks to the beach and ebiking to different towns! Would and will be back again!

Perfect retreat

Lovely quiet setting with easy access to lake and trails. Cottage is very clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything needed. Host is very responsive and thoughtful. This place is a real gem! We hope to return again.

Beautiful retreat

The hosts had everything we needed and more in this cottage. It was extremely clean. Hosts were very accommodating. The view of Lake Michigan is beautiful. The beach was peaceful. We only saw 2 people at a distance. We will definitely be recommending this cottage to friends and family.

Peaceful Getaway

I wanted to be on Lake Michigan and my husband wanted to be in the woods. This property was the best of both. It was perfect in every way and we would love to stay here again. The host is amazing and recommend great places to visit.

This property is Amazing!

This cottage delivered on all aspects. The photos are true to the property. This is the best of both worlds, woods and water! It is so clean and comfortable. I have never encountered a host who stocked the fridge and pantry. So very thoughtful. We booked 3 nights but wished we had booked more. We spent one day at Lambeau, a super easy drive if you are going to a gamee but want more than a hotel room. We will definately do this again. This would be incredible whatever time of the year you chose. Also the coffee is so delicious! 10 out of 10!

Lovely Place to Stay

This place was just as described. My husband and I loved sitting on the back deck, and enjoying the fireplace. This place was jam packed with little goodies and entertainment. I thought the little extra goodies were so thoughtful. We loved the record player. The beds and couches were firm but they supplied cushy throw blankets for guest use.

This is a original cottage that was abandoned in a pine forest for years. As a family project it took 10 years to fully rebuild the entire place back to a beautiful cottage overlooking Lake Michigan. It is hunkered down near the water in a large forest area with a safe 400 foot blacktop driveway. It is a peaceful couple's retreat where time has no meaning and relaxing and decompressing is found on the beautiful property that is away from all city noise, neighbors on the quiet estate.

The property features a beautiful view of Lake Michigan, with walking trails that go down the beach. The estate is located inside the Raur West School Forest and boasts up to 10 miles of walking trails right from the front yard! the trails take you through sand dunes, a large natural spring pond, and a 300 foot wooden boardwalk are just some of the exciting things to see on your travels. The cottage is well stocked with supplies, has a large wine table and opener, so just relax and take in your quiet surroundings and enjoy the great outdoors!
