This spacious upstairs studio style cottage is expertly designed and decorated in luxury farmhouse style. Complete with seating, a comfy king-sized bed, kitchen, dining table, and bath with step-in shower, it accommodates two with plenty of place. A smart TV is also provided as well as Wi-Fi.

In the kitchen, you will find everything you will need for preparing a quick meal and there’s even a Keurig for that morning cup of coffee.

Outside, you will find a firepit for roasting marshmallows or just spending a quiet evening under a starry sky.

When you are ready to venture out, West Jefferson offers numerous restaurants, breweries, quaint smalltown shops, and antique stores. You can walk downtown and watch cheese being made at Ashe County Cheese-the only cheese factory in North Carolina, or catch a movie at one of two movie theaters. Take in the gorgeous “Churches of The Frescoes” with paintings by Ben Long. Enjoy a scrumptious meal at Craft Bistro or Hotel Tavern. Check out Boondocks Restaurant and Brewery, or New River Brewery for a local beer. Numerous art galleries dot downtown including RT Morgan, Lenore Depree and many more. Bohemia Coffee Shop is also within walking distance.

Spend the day hiking Mount Jefferson (only a five-minute drive) or head to the Blue Ridge Parkway just a short ten-minute drive away. If you wish to ski, there’s Appalachian Ski Mountain (45-minute drive), Beech Mountain (1 hour and 15 minutes) or Sugar Mountain (1 hour).
