Double Dunes is located in heart of "Old Town" Port Aransas. Uniquely located just a half mile from beach and 2 blocks from downtown Port A where you have an abundance of restaurants and shopping available to you. A private heated pool is provided on the premise. There is enough parking for up to 5 vehicles. Ocean views can be seen from the third floor and fourth floor crow's nest! Restaurants, concert venues, night life and the marina are all a few short blocks.

The location is perfect! Kids had a blast going to the beach, getting snow cones and ice cream and then coming home and jumping in the pool! The beds are very comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed for family meals! Would definitely book again!

We are baffled by this review sir. Not once did we hear a word from you. There was absolutely zero communication on your side. As for the pots and pans we have confirmed that they are in good condition and have added even more. Our quality manager walked the house before your arrival and noticed no smells whatsoever. The rooms have TVs but it appears the batteries in a couple remotes might have died and we could have told you where more were located in the house. The pictures of the house clearly detail the dining areas available. As for the doors locking you were even sent a video upon checkin at 4:01pm that showed you how to lock the hurricane doors and you must have ignored it. Most sincere apologies for not living up to your standards but if you are not willing to communicate any concerns we will struggle to fix issues that we are not aware of.

House was great and we had a great trip. One thing I would ask the property owners is to update the amenities. There were things that were at the house that was not listed, so we brought things we did not need. The grill is hooked up to propane, so no charcoal needed. They have an ice machine in the garage that was wonderful. They did an amazing job getting us a working coffee machine for I say.

We will definitely make a note to try and update the amenities however during summer months we hesitate to do so considering the wear and tear we typically face with persistent back to back rentals. Our grill on site was replaced a couple months ago and it is natural gas, not propane, so no bottles are necessary. Thank you for mentioning the ice maker as we do try hard to provide every ammenity possible to our guests. Please come back and see us!

We had a wonderful vacation, and this home was a great place to stay. The owner was excellent to work with, communicating promptly and going above and beyond to accommodate a few minor complications during our trip.A couple of things future guests may want to know: if you have specific kitchen items you like to cook with, it’s a good idea to bring them along, as well as a few extra kitchen towels. If you prefer sleeping with a blanket, you may also want to pack one or two.One important detail to note is that the twin-over-queen bunk bed is located downstairs in its own separate area that is not connected to the main living space. This wasn’t an issue for our family, but it’s something prospective guests should be aware of when booking.

Spacious Comfort with 3 King Beds – Perfect for Families & Groups!

One of the standout features of this home is the luxurious sleeping arrangements. We know how important a good night’s sleep is—especially when traveling—so we made sure to include three king-sized beds for ultimate comfort. No drawing straws or flipping coins—everyone gets to stretch out!

In addition to the 3 king beds, there’s a cozy bunk room on the lower level, ideal for kids or anyone looking to relax in a more casual space. The bunk setup includes a queen bed, twin bunks, and an extra futon, comfortably accommodating up to 14 guests.

Please note: while there’s plenty of room inside, parking is limited. We can fit up to 6 standard vehicles, including space in the garage—so plan carpools accordingly!
