Just what we needed

It was such a lovely time… the house was very comfortable and cozy…it was the perfect size for my husband and I and our 10 year old son and our preteen granddaughters …we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and we would definitely return

Decent house, several issues

Decent little house in the Pocono Country Place community. We're pretty low-maintenance people, but we ran into several issues: 1) The outdoor trash bins were completely full when we arrived. An animal got into them and diapers and food were strewn across the yard. We cleaned it up and communicated with the owner. Initially, she said that there was nothing to be done since trash pickup wasn't until later in the week. Later, she told us that she was sending a friend to pick up the trash. After he left, the bins were still 3/4 full. 2) There are no screens in the kitchen window. The screen on the sliding door does not fit properly and bugs can still get in around the sides. 3) The air conditioning unit doesn't cool the upstairs bedroom. There were no fans in the house, so the upstairs room was unusable due to the temperature. 4) The carpet upstairs is very stained. Looks like a kids art project got a little crazy because there were multi-colored stains everywhere! One positive is that the owner was quick to communicate about these issues. I messaged her directly about all of this, and she has said that they are working on correcting these issues. Hopefully things are better for the next guests!

Very pleased

I was very happy with my stay, looked just like the pictures. The pool and playground is around the corner. (Pool is not free) My family was happy and we enjoyed our stay!
