Beautiful cottage with AMAZING view of Barren River Lake!

This beautiful cottage was built in 2020 with the goal of creating a "cabin getaway" from the fast pace of life. The view off the large screened in porch is considered one of the best on Barren River Lake! This home offers three spacious bedrooms and two large baths. Also, offering beautiful white pine walls and ceilings, hardwood floors , granite kitchen counters, and a gas fireplace. There are many large windows for great views of the lake and you can expect to see lots of local wild life. Gather your family or friends around the fire pit in the evening in the front yard. The cottage is conveniently located two miles from Bailey's Point boat dock for access to water activities and a playground. There is a graveled area to park boats, pontoons, etc. on the property. We are conveniently close to many area attractions including Mammoth Cave National Park, Barren River Lake State Park , Bailey's Point Campground, and the National Corvette Museum!

Wonderful Wedding Weekend Getaway!

The Lakeside Cottage was the perfect place for us to stay for a family wedding in Smiths Grove, KY. Thirty minute drive to the beautiful Tayvin Gardens. We loved the peaceful lake setting at the cottage and staying with our daughter and son-in-law. We all enjoyed the big screen porch: reading, drinking coffee, birdwatching, and chatting. The cottage had everything we needed and more to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We felt right at home.

Fantastic house!

This house is fantastic! It is beautiful Inside and out! It was very clean! The view was amazing! We loved staying there! We went to mammoth cave and a couple other caves. We also went to Nashville. We highly recommended!

Great cottage

Stay at the house was great. We had a small issue with the air conditioner but the host was very prompt to fix it and even offering to comp a day or pay for dinner. While the AC was being repaired, they were more than generous and we loved our stay.

A Perfect Getaway

In town over Christmas to visit family. This well appointed home on the lake was as much a personal retreat, as it was a vacation rental. It had everything we needed and much more than we expected. Relaxing, peaceful Thanksgiving getaway

Great cottage! The view was the first thing we saw when we opened the front door. It was amazing! Cottage had everything we needed and then some. Even though it was November, the weather was mild enough for us to dine on the screened-in porch for our holiday meal. We hope to come back sometime with family. Great stay and highly recommend!

Amazing Views

We had a wonderful time at the cottage , our best friends were there for 2 nights and it was the perfect place to spend time catching up. The views are amazing , sitting on the back porch was so relaxing. The cottage was very clean. We will definately book again !

We are retired, we do many of these and here our input

You know about the electrical stuff. Everything else was really wonderful. We do have two suggestions. The first one to us was a big thing. Your house was spotlessly clean. The porch screens were not. The other thing was about the cutlery. There were plenty of spoons and forks but only 4 knives. That was a problem. We have found more houses going to thrift stores and buys wide varieties of good quality cutlery that are crazy cheap and fun! Just an idea! Thank you for sharing your home with us.
